The air-conditioned apartment is situated within a quiet building and the main living area enjoys access to a private garden, with a private dining area. Guests also have access to a shared, outdoor swimming pool.

Inside the apartment is elegantly furnished. The airy, open-plan living area enjoys a high, exposed wood-beamed ceiling and a cool terracotta tiled floor. Nestled in the heart of the breath-taking, Umbrian countryside, this property is an 8-minute drive (1 hour hike) from Ficulle where guests can explore the narrow medieval streets of this picturesque Hilltown. Castello della Sala, a 13th-century castle, now transformed into a winery is equally as close by.

Alternatively, the small city of Orvieto, is a 30-minute drive away and makes the perfect day trip. Perched on a rock cliff with incredible views, the city is famous for its white wine and beautiful cathedral. Foodies should go on market day (Thursday & Saturday) to experience the bustle of the local farmers who come into town to sell their produce and pick up some of the best regional ingredients to use at home.

Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is a 1 hour and 15-minute drive away and Assisi, the birthplace of St Francis and a site of pilgrimage a 1 hour and 30-minute drive away.
