We stayed at Kristina’s place, La Cure, for one week in the first part of July. The property is large and the main house and small guest quarters are wonderful. The main farmhouse is quirky and has lots of character - everything you need. The guest quarters are adorable and perfect for a couple and their child or three teens (as was our case)! The pool, pool table, bocce ball court and dart board provided lots of fun and distraction. The village is very small with only a restratuant/store that has limited hours but is useful and convenient for small items, a cappuccino on n thé morning or a simple meal. This property is in the countryside, surrounded by sunflower fields, wheat fields and agriculture so if you are looking for quiet and relaxing this is it. Tours, the main city, is an hour away and worth a visit. Most of the chateau are at least an hour away although Loches is very close and worth a visit - was wonderful. We had a great time.
