Picturesque accommodation nestled amongst gorgeous gardens. Just 5 minutes from friendly Feilding. Peaceful and private with your own drive and entrance. 5 minutes to Manfield, 20 minutes to Palmerston North, close to Kimbolton and Cheltenham. A semi rural location offering a tranquil and peaceful environment with sprawling lawn and gardens, as well as expansive verandahs, stylish outdoor furniture and BBQ for entertaining.

Dogs welcome (not in the bedrooms). Large outdoor space for dogs, not entirely fenced.

Fabulous stay in Feilding!

Wow! What a magic spot. Thank you John and Anna for sharing your gorgeous property with us. Whilst we were out and about visiting family, your place was a fabulous & peaceful base to recharge and soak up the bird song and your garden.

Enjoyable break away

We enjoyed staying at Brindle Cottage, the space and privacy were great to enjoy time out. Our dogs loved the space to roam a bit. As others have said the section isn't fully fenced but it's a long way from the road so shouldn't be a problem. Thanks John & Anna!

Secluded and relaxed stay away from central Fielding

Sadly I didn’t get to meet Anna and John but thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay with them. It’s a peaceful, quiet and relaxed setting out the back of their property surrounded by gorgeous, well maintained gardens Anna and John are great communicators and the place was well appointed. Cabin Quaint

A clean and tidy property with communicative and friendly hosts. Probably better for a warm dry summer stay than a cold wet winter/spring stay. Four detached cabins make up the whole - one with twin beds, on with a double bed, one serves as a living room and the fourth combines a decent sized kitchen and bathroom, both with their own external entrances. Worked Ok for us as a one night stay whilst on a road trip but a longer stay would be most enjoyable in good weather where full use could be made of the generously proportioned deck, sun loungers and garden.

Wonderful place to stay with very accommodating hosts that did not mind that we had dogs with us, allowed to walk them on the grounds around the stunning garden. Tranquil and quiet place to stay and relax at.

two couple stay

We were in Feilding for racing at Manfeild Park raceway, so we were at the track all day and wanted somewhere quiet to stay to recover from two busy days. It was a beautiful spot in lovely well kept gardens well away from the main house. Perfect for our needs of two couples. Slightly unusual layout, but worked fine for us. A BBQ would be a nice addition:-) would definately reccomend and would stay again

Not a cottage!

This is a tricky review to write as the gardens and setting are wonderful, private and pretty. However, this is described as A COTTAGE and it isn't. The reality is that it's a group of 4 tiny cabins connected by decking i.e. kitchen in one, lounge in one, bedrooms in one each. On a sunny day that's not too hot, that might work for many people. But for us, in the rain and hot temperatures, it didn't work at all. At the least, mosquito mesh should be added to all the windows so that you can breathe without getting bitten. And a bit more roof cover too so you don't get wet going to and from the lounge or bathroom.

Fantastic Weekend

Lovely garden setting with cottages close to town. We had a fun day at the Shepherds Shamozzle in Hunterville and the accommodation was nice and handy.
