Our stay at ‘Bearadise’ was great! The home was very welcoming and decorated for the holidays. The weather didn’t cooperate for the winter outdoor activities we had originally planned, but we all stayed happily busy playing pool, darts, basketball and rock climbing in the huge indoor gym, and playing other board games. If you are looking to get away and enjoy a quiet country property, this is a perfect spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family getaway at Bearadise. There were seven of us, four adults and three children, but the place could’ve easily accommodated several more. The kids, ages 2, 4 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed the “campfire room, the gym, the abundance of stuffed animals and of course, all the wonderful toys at the beach! The adults enjoyed happy children, the picturesque view from the deck and the peaceful tranquility of the private lake. We would highly recommend this place to families with children.

We were very disappointed and ended up leaving a day early. There is no AC in two of the bedrooms and they had flannel sheets in July, the downstairs shower was not clean and had hair stuck to the walls and floor and the downstairs smelled like sewage every time you flushed the toilet. Also the black stone grill and the utensils had not been cleaned from the previous renters and was too dirty to use. I feel the house was completely misrepresented on line. Connie was very nice and the house itself is neat and has lots to do, but it needs repairs and a good cleaning.

This house was perfect for the 11of us. We were ages 7 months to 69. The kids loved the camp room and the playhouse. The 2year old loved all the baby bears in the house. It was cold and rainy, but that did not stop us. The kids played on the beach and swam in sweatshirts the first day. We utilized the kayak, paddle board, paddle boat and the swim pad. The gym was a godsend when it was raining; little kids could run and scream to their heart's content. There are many stairs with 5 levels, but it was great cardio for all of us. We wish the lift TV area could have seated all of us for a movie night. We made it work. All of the fresh air and exercise meant we all slept well. We found a lovely church to attend on Father's Day thanks to a recommendation from our host .Connie was a super host. Easy to get ahold of with questions before and during our stay. My great granddaughter and I forgot our pillows and she is sending them to me. We have already picked dates for next summer

Great place to stay

I have to say this place and Connie are amazing! The cabin is just as described and Connie went out of her way to prepare the cabin with setting up all the things we need as we had little ones with us. Even on the days the weather didn’t cooperate with us there was enough for everyone to keep occupied and enough space that everyone was not on top of each other. Most definitely will be looking to stay here again.

Loved the view! The cabin was comfortable and went well for family. Kids area and gym were used along with the foosball and pool table. I wasn’t a fan of swimming within that lake, but nice for tanning and fishing. There was an area for boat but it’s not recommended. Fire and family were the best with all the seating options. The house was a little cluttered but some people may need all the stuff for bigger events. All in all good time!

Stairs, chairs, and bears oh my!

The property manager was kind, accommodating, and responsive in communication. She went above and beyond returning left behind items after our stay. The property was unique but somewhat overwhelming in the sheer amount of chairs, pillows and over the top themed rooms. There was very little storage space for pantry items or closet space for clothing or luggage. This house is also five levels and there are lots of stairs. Chipmunks were able to get into the billiard room (converted garage) and the outdoor furniture was weathered and mossy. This property clearly has been loved but needs more attention and decluttering.

Connie is a wonderful gracious hostess and excellent communicator and the home is full of lots of fun Lake decor and character!! The Lake house is cozy and she has everything you need ( well stocked with towels, kitchen items, toys,books,pillows, bedding and more!)

Awesome property and an amazing time!

The host Connie was absolutely awesome and so sweet. She was very communicative and responsive. She had the cabin perfectly set up for us before we arrived and was very thoughtful when laying things out for us. The cabin itself is beautiful and very clean. It was plenty of room for us 5 adults and 2 children. Everything we needed for the kids (ages 2 and 6) was already there for us which really helped save room in our car since we didn’t have to bring extra things to entertain them and a pack and play. The kids were very entertained by all the toys inside the cabin and on the beach (which they spent endless hours at). I’m so glad we found this rental. We had an AMAZING time and we will definitely plan to come back again.

Family Vacation

We surprise our kids every Christmas with a cabin trip in the summer. This cabin was beautifully decorated, and it had everything we could possibly need while we stayed there. There were so many fun areas for our entire family to enjoy…relaxing and eating out on the huge deck, every evening we enjoyed the bonfire area, our granddaughters loved the kid playhouse, everyone loved the sandy beach area, lots of floaties, paddle board, paddle boat, and kayaks. The gym on the lower level was a hit, as well as the pool table. By far, one of the nicest cabins we have stayed at and Connie, the host, was exceptional. We all will be talking about this cabin and our family time together here for a very long time!

Annual Family Get Together

The cabin was an awesome location for our annual family gathering! There was no shortage of things to do at the property and the view was beautiful! We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch, main bonfire pit, deck, and basketball court! My nieces had the best time in the very thought out kid rooms (both indoors and outdoors)! Connie was a fantastic host and answered any questions we had. We would absolutely come back!

Spacious home on a quiet lake

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The lake was quiet and the view of the spacious deck enjoyable. We enjoyed canoeing, kayaking and fishing off the dock. The beach front was mucky and the water full of algae, which wasn’t the best for swimming or for the little ones to play. There were many things to entertain the kids and our dogs loved it there.

There was plenty for all to do. The kids especially loved the game room and playhouse. They did like going on the floaties but to muddy for them to walk around in the water. Several enjoyed kayaking and watching the loons and other wildlife.

Perfect Summer Getaway

We had 3 families staying together and the house and amenities were perfect for us. The kids had so much to do that they didn’t complaint the entire time! Adults had plenty of space and the views are incredible. The hosts had so many things ready for us, we felt like we were staying at a family home. Highly recommend for a MN getaway!

It was the perfect place for us! The house is beautiful with an amazing deck! There was something to do for all ages, my grandchildren loved the slide that went down the hill, the playhouse that was completely set up as a little home, all the water floats, and the friendly chipmunk that made regular visits, The fishing was so much fun, everyone caught fish and the house came with canoes and paddle boat, It was perfect!
