Casa O Sonho near Faro with private pool

Stay at this Villa, only 15 minutes driving away from Faro airport. With beautiful gardens and views of the surrounding hills, this is a truly tranquil place. Two comfortable bedrooms, one ensuite, and a further bathroom, all situated on the ground floor, can accommodate a maximum of 4 people, perfect for two couples or a family. There is an open plan living space with a kitchen, dining area, and a living area with a smart TV and a DVD. WI-FI is also available. The newly fully fitted kitchen has a built-in oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, and also an American fridge/freezer with water dispenser and ice making facility. Kettle, toaster and coffee maker are also available. There is a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. All rooms have air conditioning for both cooling and heating. The outside space has a 10m x 5m private pool located in a south-west facing terrace. There are four sun loungers with pool towels, two sun umbrellas, and a dining area. The covered terrace has comfortable furniture for relaxing. Some of the most beautiful beaches and golf courses in the Algarve are just 15 km away.

Ruhige Lage im Hinterland von Faro

Das Haus ist schön gelegen, absolut ruhig im Hinterland von Faro mit Blick auf den Atlantik. Die Einrichtung insbesondere der Bäder ist sehr schön, nur die Küche sollte renoviert werden. Es waren alle des täglichen Lebens, aber die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Pool ist groß und sehr schön waren die vielen Sitzmöbeln.

The photographs don’t do it justice

We have used Vrbo / owners direct for years and never had a bad villa, but this is probably the best one we have stayed in. The bathrooms have all been updated to a high standard and the swimming pool is great. Being ultra critical, the kitchen could probably do with updating at some point, but let’s face it you don’t go on holiday to be stuck in the kitchen. The only down point was the confirmation from Belvilla gave us details on how to get the key but these were well out of date and despite contacting them they didn’t seem to grasp this. However Fatima, the property manager, contacted us two days before departure with all of the correct information plus recommending local restaurants and supermarkets.

Nice villa in a secluded location...

We had a great week in this villa, the place has recently benefited from both inside and outside refurbishments. The kitchen was original but functional and once that is upgraded would make the villa perfect. Fatima was excellent with all communications and details regarding our stay. We hope to return soon..

Sehr schön

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage. Sehr schönes Anwesen, ruhig gelegen, alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird (insbesondere die Kühlbox war von großem Vorteil 😉). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind schnell erreichbar. Wir waren zwar die ganze Zeit unterwegs, wer aber mal einen Tag zum Nichtstun einlegen will, kann das hier sehr gut machen. Der Pool ist super! Fatima hat sich bestens um alles gekümmert! Vielen Dank. Ein Tipp: das Auto sollte absolut geländegängig sein. Die Straße zum Haus ist „grenzwertig“ für Normalautos. Aber mit entsprechendem fahrbaren Untersatz kein Problem. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert

Lovely private villa

Property is lovely, it was spotless, very well furnished with everything you need for your stay and the property manager was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again, but would recommend that the owners update the the cooker which is very old and repair the washing machine which leaks. A car is essential if you rent this property and the unfinished road is a challenge so we would recommend hiring a 4x4 .

Un petit paradis en Algarve

Un très bel endroit, bien aménagé dans un écrin de verdure au milieu d’une colline à proximité de Faro. Une vingtaine de minutes de l’aéroport, et de Faro, une vingtaine de minutes de Loulé, et 35’ d’Albufeira. Les chambres sont bien agencées, moustiquaires aux fenêtres, air conditionné, et des salles de bain très récentes. La piscine est idéale, avec bains de soleil et plusieurs salons de jardin pour petit déjeuner, déjeuner ou dîner. Entretien par jardinier, pisciniste, et femme de ménage pendant notre séjour de 2 semaines. Et enfin, une très bonne interaction avec Fatima qui répond ultra rapidement et se rend disponible. Parfaite ! Seul hic, la qualité de la route alentour. Un grand merci et en espérant venir à nouveau.

Villa et région très agreables

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine entre détente, piscine, mer et visites. La maison est très bien équipée, les terrasses au top et la clim appréciable le soir. Les baignades a toute heure dans la piscine nous a permis de bien nous rafraîchir. Dommage que les locataires précédents aient fumé pendant 2 semaines dans la villa laissant une odeur de tabac froid dans la maison. Nous avons également rencontré un problème d'odeur de transpiration avec les draps de la chambre adulte et odeur de renfermé dans la chambre enfants. Nous obligeant à tout relaver dès le 1er jour alèse oreille incluse. Fatima était très confuse.

Quiet, very nice pool, excellent exterior areas

We were a group of 2 couples and enjoyed very much the house. Very good swimming pool (perfect for swimming). Outside space is very nice and cosy, the house has a big garden in the surrounding area. The house has a master room with suite and a twin room, all good size, comfy beds, good storage space. The toilets are refurbished and very good. Some details for future reference: we felt the need to have more general cutlery (knives, forks, spoons), because we used the washing machine. Nonetheless, it is very well equipped with the remaining kitchen items/small appliances. Also, the oven is not that efficient, because it is not electric. We believe the kitchen should be improved, but worked for us during the week. There are some details that must be mentioned previously such as the weekly cleaning of the pool and the garden (we were only informed on the day that there would be someone there to clean the pool). Apart from this, we loved the experience and hopefully visit in a near future.
