"The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay."

"Every room is a suite, but prices vary, and the staff is young. They need a checklist to make sure each room has what they need (shampoo, cups, A/C on…) It’s Pretty around the pool and hot tub was big. I like the mile walk to town in the morning when it’s quiet and calm next to the lake. The entire island is relaxing with great restaurants, yummy perch and walleye bites at the Village Pump. I would return in a minute. Looking forward to going again."

"My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. When we first pulled in, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful (and real) flowers outside of each room. The property appears very nicely kept. When we got into our room, it was so cute and very clean. That bed was so comfortable, I wanted to take it home. 😅 Check in and out was so incredibly easy. We saw...

"Pictures are not anything like the actual place. It’s at an intersection and everything is loud. It looks sketchy, and the room is so tiny. A double bed is not even big enough for 2 people. The bathroom is so small you couldn’t move. I would so much rather pay $30 more for bigger."

"Driving in my husband was like h*ll no were not staying. Once we got up to the front u can tell they did some renovation, inside the main office looked nice and recently remodeled. We got a room like 2 doors down from the office again looks to be recently remodeled but it was far from a good construction job.....u can tell they just painted over the ceiling damage, in the bathroom there was damaged that was poorly fixed by the bathtub, the pictures on the walls were very gross with what appeared...
