Bancroft Lakefront Cottage with Breathtaking Sunsets!

A quiet morning coffee on the porch, swimming all day and night, afternoon siestas or roasting marshmallows by the fire – whatever “vacation” looks like to you, our little slice of heaven is the perfect spot to make your summer memories.

Our open concept main cottage, with all the amenities of home, has three (3) bedrooms, 1 full bath, kitchen and two (2) living areas. The Bunkie (aka teen hangout), located directly beside the main cottage, sleeps an additional 4 people with two (2) double sized futons.

Enjoy gorgeous lake views from multiple seating areas, including an outdoor dining area, on the large side to side deck.

Down on the dock you will find a walk-in swimming area as well as deep water swimming off the end. Included for use, we offer, three (3) kayaks and canoe. A selection of fishing rods, lifejackets and water shoes are available for use as well.

The sprawling front yard provides ample room for hours of entertainment with provided lawn games (including yard Yahtzee, corn hole, bocce ball and horseshoes), or feel free to bring your own family favourite.

Pillows provided for all beds - bring your own linens and towels.

Basic cottage rules – no smoking inside cottage, parties or events are permitted. No tents or trailers allowed on the property.

Renters must be 30+ years of age

This is our second time staying at this cottage and it was amazing. The lake is crystal clear and we swam every day. Kerri and Evan are fantastic hosts that respond immediately to any questions you may have. Sunsets are spectacular and we got to see a Hummingbird that stopped by most days. Great vacation at Bentley Lake!!

Great Cottage on a beautiful lake!!

We had a great time at this beautiful cottage on one of the cleanest lakes I have ever seen. Swimming was great and my husband caught a few fish off the dock as well. It is super close to town and of course Kawartha Lakes Dairy!! The property is huge and all the rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bunkie was also amazing! Can't say enough about this fantastic cottage and the owner's Kerri and Evan were great hosts always ready to assist with anything needed. We will most definitely be back next year!

Great Family Getaway

This is a great cottage for a family. We had plenty of space to hang out and enjoy one another plus space for any one of us to sneak off with a book. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and laundry, a large deck with family sized table and the world's largest outdoor sectional. It was perfect having the separate bunkie for the 2 teenagers in our group. The swimming is lovely. The nights were quiet and we heard loons which is always heavenly. I would recommend this spot.

THANK YOU FOR PARADISE

My family has rented cottages throughout Ontario for many years but the Bentley Lake Retreat cottage we had the pleasure to stay at this past week was by far our favourite. The lake is so calm & serene and the Davis family has put in such a great effort to make sure their guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. From excellent outdoor games (Badminton & Volleyball) to great internet connection this cottage did not disappoint at all. I would recommend renting this cottage to anyone looking to disconnect and relax. Thank you Davis family!!

Bentley Lake Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. the cottage was nice and clean. Great view of the lake. Peaceful / quite lake . Great for couples with kids or families. they provide variety of indoor and outdoor equipment / Games to keep you entertained even on rainy days. would be nice if they could stock a few more basic herbs or spices. they did provided a basket of chips and other goodies, that kids enjoyed. I would recommend to try this cottage.

comfort

attention to comfort and conviviality. lovely deck with great seating, good sized dock and water swim/play area...boats were an asset as was swimming raft. incredible sunsets over undeveloped land across the water. slept well to the morning call of loons. neighbours not too closes and friendly. fabulous long flat drive for badminton and horseshoes and just sitting to peacefully contemplate the beautiful nature all round

Bentley lake retreat

The large property exceeded our expectations, gorgeous views, peaceful, 2 outdoor covered seating areas with lots of room to spread out, dining el fresco or indoors. The cottage with bunkie met all our needs for a family of 9 (8 adults + 1 child) Would not hesitate to recommend or return!!
