Newly updated Rough River Cottage with deck, grill and firepit!!

Escape the busy city life for a few days in this comfortable, fully equipped, newly updated, lake cottage located in the safe and established Autumn Ridge neighborhood. This three bedroom house sits on ¾ of an acre and is located near Cave Creek in the heart of River River. Just minutes from the State Park, hiking trails and beaches, this cottage is the perfect place to enjoy time with family or friends. In this home you will find a small open kitchen and dining area, two small living rooms with TVs, three queen size bedrooms (all including smart tvs), and two baths. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any meal and includes a stove, dishwasher, small appliances, and a coffee maker. A washer and dryer are also available. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the large, private, back porch. A firepit surrounded by chairs sits off the patio and is the perfect spot to finish the evening. There is also a gas and Blackstone grill conveniently located off of the kitchen on the back deck. The property also includes lake access, perfect for fishing, with an easy walk down a small hill. The 4th "bedroom" is located in a separate outbuilding that has been updated as an extra living space, just a few steps from the main house. It has it's own small private deck and contains a TV, window AC unit, electric space heater, small sofa, two twin beds, a king bed, and small mini fridge large enough to hold a few beverages. This area is PERFECT for older kids or teens wanting a little more privacy. A community boat dock is located in a no-wake cove and with an end slip that is extremely easy to access, giving you the ability to tie up for a few hours or swim in a safe area. It is conveniently located a short walk or golf cart ride away with the nearest boat ramp (Cave Creek) just over a mile away. We hope you choose us for your lake getaway! PLEASE NOTE: ROUGH RIVER LAKE IS A FLOOD CONTROLLED LAKE THAT IS CONTROLLED BY THE ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS. THE WATER LEVELS MAY FLUCTUATE ACCORDING TO RAINFALL. THROUGH LATE FALL AND WINTER MONTHS THE LAKE MAY BE DRAI

Great updated and modern lake house!

Outside: nice back deck with path to Rough River Lake (<100 ft.), grills, great fire pit, was able to use kayaks (just pulled them down the path to the lake), super nice fire pit with chairs.

Falls of Rough Kentucky Getaway

The property was even more than we bargained for. The home was more impressive than the pictures in the listing. The beds were so comfortable, and the antique decor is warm and welcoming. The hosts were gracious and had thought of everything traveler's might need away from home. They also were very attentive to making our stay a trouble-free getaway. Highly recommend this listing and can't speak highly enough of every aspect of the trip to Falls of Rough. Thanks to the hosts, Matt and Sarah, hope to meet you one day!
