Once upon a time in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Goldilocks got tired of breaking into random cottages and decided to upgrade. Instead of three bowls of porridge, she wanted three hiking trails (easy, moderate, and “what was I thinking?”). Instead of three chairs, she wanted three options for downtown Asheville—eat, drink, and repeat. And instead of three bears glaring at her, she wanted… well, a hot tub and a sauna.

That’s when she stumbled upon this mountain home—just right.

Goldilocks thought she had it good with three bowls of porridge and some borrowed furniture, but clearly she`d never stayed in this 3,300+ square foot Blue Ridge beauty. If she had, she would`ve ditched the bears and booked a long weekend.

Welcome to our three-story, dog-friendly mountain home—just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville—where everything is designed to be just right.

The open-concept upper level offers a living room big enough for the whole gang to pile in without stepping on each other`s paws (yes, dogs included). From here, you can soak in mountain views from the deck, curl up by the fireplace in the cozy top deck, or gather in front of the living room fireplace. Hungry? Our modern kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a wine cooler, and countertop space so vast that you can assign sous-chef duties, much like Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear—no complaints. And if grilling is more your style, head out to the balcony, where the propane gas grill awaits on the upper deck. Traveling with little cubs? We`ve got two high chairs and two Pack` n Plays, so even the tiniest guests have their own `just right` spot at the table.

After supper, slip into the hot tub with a cocktail and watch the sunset turn the mountains golden—or settle in for movie night on the 65` TCL Framed HDTV with high definition sound. If no one can agree on what to watch (which happens), no worries—we have five more HDTVs, each already hooked up to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+. And if the kids (or grownups acting like kids) need to burn off energy, the entertainment/game room in the garage has an 80` TV, pool table, foosball, pop-a-shot, two arcade games loaded with 10+ games each. Trust us—Goldilocks would`ve destroyed Baby Bear in foosball.

When it`s time for bed, there`s no need for you to argue. The house has four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, so everyone gets a `just right` retreat. Plush pillow-top mattresses, 1800-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy down pillows, spa-quality towels, and Public Goods bath products ensure you`ll sleep better than Baby Bear after story time. And yes, Papa Bear can finally stop complaining about his back thanks to the two-person sauna.

Come morning, watch the sunrise from the top deck with a fresh cup of coffee—Keurig and regular drip coffee machines are stocked in the kitchen, which means you`ll never fight over who makes the first pot. We`ve stocked complimentary pods, tea, and regular coffee, along with creamer and sugar, because nobody wants to play `too hot, too cold` with their caffeine.

So whether you`re hiking until your legs feel like jelly, splashing in Lake Lure, marveling at Biltmore, or eating your way through Asheville, this mountain home is your Goldilocks-approved basecamp. Not too big, not too small, not too rustic, not too fancy—everything here is just right.

We have an excellent housekeeping team that will have thoroughly cleaned the cabin before your arrival. However, if they missed anything and the place is not to your satisfaction, we offer a 24-hour clean guarantee. We would be glad to promptly send our team back out to address any areas that were overlooked.

-There is a one-time fee of $200 for pets. Well-trained dogs only, please. Three dogs maximum.
- Absolutely NO parties or events allowed at our home.
- There is a $1000 fee for not abiding by this rule.
- We maintain a safe & pleasant neighborhood with onsite security.
- Our home can only accommodate the number of guests shown in the listing details; no additional guests permitted.
- Minimum age requirement to book our home is 25+ years old.

Sleeping accommodations are as follows:
1st floor - 2 queen beds, 2 couches, 1 queen air mattress, 2 full baths, 1 half bath
2nd floor - 1 king bed, 1 full bath,
2nd floor - 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed, 2 full baths
A $ 1,000 fee and damages will apply to any reservation where a party or event is hosted.
A $250 fee will be imposed for smoking indoors or removing any strong odors.
A one-time pet fee of $300 covers up to three dogs.
