    The Space:

    Get a wood fire going in the fireplace and settle in for a perfectly peaceful vacation at this serene, two-story cabin tucked away among the trees. Lovingly constructed by a local artisan using trees forested from the area, this mountain-view home offers a unique experience for your next stay in the town of Fairview. Throughout this property's four hikeable, wooded acres, you'll find rock staircases, tranquil ponds, and rushing creeks with waterfalls to admire. When you want to get out and explore, make your way to Catawba Falls, Veterans Park, and downtown Black Mountain, all less than 10 miles from your door. This property is also only 18 miles from the heart of Asheville. Inside, discover rustic touches and numerous modern amenities to ensure the utmost comfort for you and your guests. Whip up your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and then dine indoors or out. After meals, settle into the main living area and stream your favorite channels, or borrow a book and make your way into the upstairs reading nook located across the suspended walkway. The front porch provides you with a wonderful spot to unwind and listen to the wildlife in a comfortable rocking chair. Additional features and amenities include a convenient washer/dryer, a gas grill, and a firepit for roasting s'mores, telling stories, and stargazing.
    Things to Know
  • Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
  • All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
  • All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

Quaint weekend in the woods

The stay as a cabin in the woods was certainly authentic. It was a great place to stay and close enough to Asheville and the hikes we wanted to do. Everything was clearly laid out and it is just as described.

A Private and Peaceful Getaway!

A great babbling brook at the base of the tree house getaway! A wounderfully private spot, only 30 minutes from Asheville. Highly recommend!

Nice little cabin

This is a great little home and was good for our weekend getaway. Although the home is older and rustic, it was super clean when we arrived. There are plenty of pots and pans and dishes and the outdoor grill works great! Space was smaller than we expected, but still had plenty of room for our family of 4. Really enjoyed the stay!

Just what we needed

This cabin was perfect for our quiet family getaway. The cabin was peaceful and private, yet close enough to"civilization" when we wanted to go out. I loved how pet friendly the cabin was. There was a cute little dog area under the stairs. The neighbors were also really friendly and gave us a quick tour of their home and cheese making area. I would definitely stay here again.

High School Senior Hiking Vacation

Great hiking on property and nearby. Got to see a black bear up close (about 20 feet away). Appreciated the check-ins by the management company and assistance with the entry code.

Was within 30 minutes drive to Asheville, hiking, Biltmore estates and food shopping! Property was perfect for dogs a little grass area to run and a creek to play in! Hiking on property and we got to see a black bear!

We chose this cool little cabin because it’s located right in between Chimney Rock and Black Mountain. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed being semi-secluded without having to drive forever for it. We really appreciated that gas for the grill was provided. Thank you!

The Shaw clan stay in Fairview

We had a short visit, only two nights but it was a beautiful home with awesome woodwork throughout thd house. I own Shaw Tree and am a tree climber,so the house was perfect for us. The pictures on the site dont do it justice. We will be reserving the house again next year for a longer stay.

Spring Break with kids at Glass Mountain Treehouse

During our spring break week at the North Carolina cabin, we were spellbound by the breathtaking views that surrounded us. Nestled in a secluded area, the log cabin offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With plenty of space to roam and relax, we felt truly at peace in our temporary haven. The serene ambiance, coupled with the rustic charm of the cabin, made our stay unforgettable. It was a rejuvenating experience that allowed us to reconnect with nature and each other. We couldn't have asked for a more idyllic getaway.

Beautiful Cabin and grounds

Beautiful cabin, loved the trail. The wrap around fenced in porch great for our babies (Casper and Ghost) to securely hang outside. Loved the fully stocked kitchen. Bathrooms were really nice and clean and had everything we needed. Nice getaways spot. Go shopping for food and water and the rest is there. Thank me later!!!
