The 2 decks allow guests to take full advantage of this 1 acre mountain lot surrounded by lodge pole pines. Enjoy bird watching and amazing views of Pikes Peak and the valley from the top deck while grilling, or relax in the 6 person hot tub located on the lower deck.
Lots of outdoor space to explore and to get into nature. Go on a scavenger hunt and find the 6 small gnomes hidden in the trees around the property.

~You will need a 4x4 vehicle in the winter (Nov - April) as Colorado gets lots of snow at 11,000ft. Base Camp is a 2 miles up a windy gravel road. In the winter the road is covered in snow and ice. The road is plowed, although you will need to be prepared with an adequate vehicle.
~ If traveling with a little one, we have you covered! We have a Pack-n-Play, baby gate, baby bathtub, bouncer, high chair, and sound baby monitor for your use.
~ Don't worry, we didn't forget about your fur baby. Dogs are welcome for an additional $100 pet fee (2 dog limit). This is put toward the extra time it takes our cleaner to get all hairs and messes even the most clean, well-behaved dogs leave, along with the longer term care we need to keep our house immaculate! A dog bed, food/water bowls, baggies and some dog toys are provided for your convenience.
~ We are in rural Colorado, and while having the highest speed internet choice, it could be spotty at times.
~ No AC - but thankfully you're in the Rocky Mountains! Open the windows and turn on the ceiling fan and we promise you won't be thinking about AC! You'll likely want a sweatshirt and blanket at night, even in the middle of summer.
~ Our cabin sits at 11,000 ft in elevation. Although most people are not effected, some may feel the effects of the altitude. Drink plenty of water, utilize the humidifiers, and take it easy.
~ Due to county fire bans and STR ordinances, outdoor open fires are prohibited. We provide a propane firepit for you to use and enjoy instead.
