We found out that the motel was purchased and reopened as the Trail Inn. We were at first surprised at the fact that there is no one in the lobby to check in. "This hotel is a dive. The toilet lid was completely unattached in 223. How does housekeeping not report this? No elevator, dirty floors, and the grass hasn't been mowed in a month. Absolutely horrible experience "

"I wish I had caught her name, but the lady that checked us in was amazing. Friendly, personable, helpful, and prompt. Breakfast was decent, typical continental options but also some healthy toppings for oatmeal offered. My only feedback is that the indoor pool was freezing. Not sure if the heater was out, or if they just don’t have one, but was definitely too cold for our kids."
