"Really lovey place to stay if you just want peace and quiet, very basic and very romantic and secluded. Just hear in mind your only cooking appliances are a cooking hob. "This Inn is not quite everything it was built up to be in previous reviews but still a good value choice. Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning. "Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. "

"Accommodation was superb and in a lovely private quiet location. There was a welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs, jams, butter so we didn't have to find a shop. Accommodation was great and free wifi, Netflix and Prime available. Nice area to exercise dog and it was a very relaxing break."

"The hotel is ideally situated for the Wye Valley with great views. We had a great room which had plenty of space including a sofa, clean, great facilities and well serviced. The breakfast was really good with a great choice and the breakfast staff were really welcoming and friendly. Also the hotel had good quality pub food at a reasonable cost. We look forward to staying again."
