Found at the end of its very own driveway, Willow Lodge is every inch the family escape in the countryside. Set amidst six acres of sun-dappled woodland, this contemporary lodge has everything you need for a family escape to remember. Let's start with that tempting sunken hot tub on your decking…perfect for forgetting everything but the sounds of the breeze in the trees and that glass of bubbly beside you…

The table and chairs on the decking mean you can dine al fresco and enjoy those lake views. And back inside, the stylish fitted kitchen will make cooking for the clan a pleasure. Floor to ceiling windows fill the living space with light, and we love the way the open plan design means you can spend time together without feeling crowded. The log burning stove adds a cosy feel to evenings, and just imagine stepping out of the hot tub and into the living space for a family film night.

If you're hoping to strike a romantic note, the four-poster bed in the master bedroom makes this lodge extra special. Draped in beautiful fabric for a fairytale feel, you'd be forgiven for staying in bed for the whole of your stay! Willow Lodge has a modern décor throughout. Whether you're planning a special break for two or some time as a family, it has a welcoming feel that will make you feel instantly at home.

The South View Lodges resort is all about lakeside living in six acres of quiet woodland. Spend your days wandering around the lake, or rambling in the surrounding countryside while you enjoy your escape. The city of Exeter's just a short drive away too, so you'll never be far from a shopping spree or a spot of fine dining. You name it, Exeter has it, so there's something to suit every kind of visitor. And when you return to the lodge, make sure the kids check out the play area beside it; perfect for building their own wig wams!

Important Information: The lodge accepts one dog, two small dogs may be accepted, please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £40 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.

The lodge is unable to accept children under the age of 12 other than infants under the age of 1.

Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £100 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

South View Lodges is a site that caters for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday in the Devon lakeside setting. It’s not suitable for party groups. If your booking falls outside either of these groups, please get in touch before making your booking to discuss your requirements.

Ultimate 60th Getaway!

It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing place to celebrate turning 60 with husband, two adult children and the dog! Booked only a week before so only had two nights... we should have booked longer. Planning to return very soon. The lodge is very comfortable with high end finish pretty much throughout. It is very spacious and yet cosy... we loved the covered decking outside. We sat in the hot tub drinking champagne while it poured with rain - something I have always wanted to do. Thank you to Jill and Andrew for providing such a wonderful place.
