  • Comfortable cabin in the middle of unspoiled private woods. Relax in the middle of natural beauty or visit the ridge or stream on one of our trails. Three miles of trails are for hiking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. Perfect place to gather with family and friends. Roomy cabin is fully equipped and has a fireplace. Pets are welcome. Horseback riding nearby. Snowshoe Rental available. We are a 30 minute drive from Bangor, Maine or a 4 hour drive from Boston.

    The rates and information in this listing is for the larger cabin of the two cabins on the property (called the Main cabin). The smaller cabin is on VRBO "Exeter Nature Cabins - Chalet". Both cabins together are popular for family gatherings, retreats and events.

Maine vacation

Our stay here in Exeter nature cabins was glorious, the host, Miss Debbie was very kind. The cabin was clean, and we absolutely loved where it is situated in the midst of the great outdoors of Maine. We definitely want to come back here and enjoy another vacation in this great spot.

We had a lovely stay in the Main Cabin! Debbie was very helpful and communicated with us as we needed. The property is very homey and comfortable. Perfect stay for a wedding in Corinna. Just tucked away enough down a beautiful road past cows and scenic trees and farmlands. Water pressure in the shower was excellent and sitting on the front porch is really peaceful in the morning!

Nice Relaxing Stay

This cabin was a nice place to stay for our excursions around Maine. While were were there, we were able to see wildlife everyday which was fun to see. The cabin definitely helps you disconnect from the business of everyday life!

Relaxing Maine Getaway

Exeter is a lovely town and region of rural Maine for a getaway, and the Exeter Nature Cabins have everything you could need. Debbie and son are great communicators and friendly hosts who are always ready to help. My fiancé and I spent a lovely week at the cabin- with a special shoutout to Yeti the sweet dog next door :) Definitely recommend!

The cabin was cozy and very accommodating. If you’re looking for seclusion, peace and quiet and a place to wind down from the busy city life this is your place. Surrounded by nature, wild life and beautiful star filled sky.

Quiet cabin in the woods

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin here. The host was very communicative and helpful. The huge fireplace is a wonderful feature of the main area, and the available trails were great for snowshoeing through (and snowshoes were provided by the hosts). A great cozy old cabin to relax in for a long weekend.
