Cozy Hideaway and Hot Tub! Pet Friendly!
Soak in our hot tub and breathe in the fresh north coast air. Or relax in front of the fire and put a movie on our new 55” TV. Afterwards you can cook something special in our kitchen equipped with new appliances and everything you need for your meal. Our place is conveniently located close to attractions like the Sequoia Park Zoo, restaurants, shopping, beaches, and Humboldt Bay. Redwood National and State Parks are just a 30-40 minute drive to the north.
Our place is a cozy house in a cute Eureka neighborhood. We recently remodeled the entire place, including fully gutting and renovating the kitchen and bathroom, fresh paint throughout, new windows, all new appliances, new TV, and newer washer and dryer. All the beds, mattresses, pillows, and comfy linen bedding are brand new. The hot tub is big, full of features, and nearly new. We have worked hard to build this space and we hope you enjoy relaxing here.
You’ll have full access to the house, hot tub, yard, deck and garage.

The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and safe. Ramone’s Cafe is an excellent full service restaurant and bakery which is within walking distance from our place. For something quick and tasty, Star’s Hamburgers is also within walking distance. For food shopping, Safeway supermarket is less than a mile away. Our place is also close to Sequoia Park Zoo, Humboldt Bay, and nearby beaches. Old Town Eureka is a short drive, with Redwood National and State parks about a 30 to 40 minute drive north.
There is one parking spot in the driveway, as well as free street parking in front of the house.
Saint Joseph’s Hospital is within walking distance just a few blocks away. -. We cannot host any events including weddings, parties, or other gatherings for more than six adults. -. Must be at least 25 years old to book -. There is a $25 fee per pet (billed after you book) -. Please do not allow dogs on furniture or beds -. Please pick up all pet droppings using the doggie bags provided -. Please shower and clean your feet before entering the hot tub -. Prior to check out, a) clean dishware b) strip linens and start a load in the washing machine if possible c) turn off heaters and lights d) lock doors to house
Guest Contract. By booking our rental, guests agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Agreement. Owner of this home and Guest otherwise agree as follows: Guest is an adult of at least (25) years of age and will be an occupant of the Premises during the entire Term. Other occupants of the Premises will be family members, friends, responsible adults or children under direct adult supervision. People other than those in the Guest’s party set forth above may not stay overnight at the Premises without Owner’s approval. Guest agrees to keep the Premises and all adjacent common areas clean and safe. NO PARTIES OF ANY KIND are permitted on the Premises. Use of the Premises in violation of the above requirements will result in immediate termination of this Agreement without refund of any Rent by Owner, also subject to a $250 fine. Guest agrees that the Premises shall not be used for any illegal or unlawful purpose. Complaints from neighbors regarding excessive noise or other nuisances shall be cause for immediate termination of this Agreement without refund of any Rent by Owner.
2. Payment. Rent payment is preferred via credit card, plus Security Deposit. Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
3. Pets. Pets are generally not allowed at the Premises; however some rentals are pet friendly. A $25 non-refundable pet fee will apply. Guest is required to clean up after their pets including pet hair and disposing of pet waste appropriately. If pet waste, stains or excessive hair is noted upon check-out inspection, Guest agrees to pay an additional $50- $200 pet clean-up fee. Do not let your pet on furniture or beds. Do not let your pet roam the neighborhood. If pet damage is evident such as, but not limited to, scratched floors, damaged furniture, etc., you must inform Owner prior to Check-Out Inspection. If informed Owner shall act in accordance of section 16 of this Agreement. Absolutely no cats, birds, or exotic animals are allowed. Please do not leave pet unattended in the home or yard area. Please do not allow pet to excessively bark or disturb neighbors.
4. Check-in. Check-in time is 4:00pm on your day of arrival. Lock box codes WILL NOT be issued with any Rent balance due or without acknowledgement of this rental agreement. Guest’s lock box code will be given to Guest verbally or by private message one to two days prior to your check-in date.
5. Check -out. Check-out time is 11:00am on Guest’s day of departure. Please leave keys in lock box. Owner often has guests leaving and arriving the same day, making late check out challenging or not possible. A $35.00 fee will be charged for each lost key. The Premises has a check-out procedure posted inside. Please read, and follow the check-out directions prior to departure.
6. Cleaning. The Premises will be inspected, cleaned and sanitized after your departure. Guest is required to leave the Premises in the same general condition as Guest received it by making sure dishes are washed, the used towels are put in the washing machine and the Premises are generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed, dusted and sanitized. If the Premises are left in an inadequate condition, and excessive cleaning is required, Guest agrees to pay a fee proportional to the extra time required to clean, at $40 per hour. REMEMBER: NO SMOKING on the Premises. Evidence of smoking on Premises will result in the Guest’s credit card being charged an additional $200 fee.
8. What we supply. The Premises are, unless otherwise noted on our website, equipped and set up as a fully furnished home which includes: bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, paper products, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-fi and furnishings.
9. Entry by owner. Owner or TBVR may enter the Premises under the following circumstances: in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed upon repairs, alterations or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services.Ascertain the validity of Neighbor Complaint.
10. Weather/Hold Harmless. Owner does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Owner does not accept liability for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, electricity or plumbing. Owner does not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather/road conditions/closures, natural disasters, acts of God or other reasons beyond its control. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER.
11. Hot tub. Guest should shower, be clean, and ensure feet are free of debris or leaf litter prior to hot tub entry. Guest herby acknowledges that if the Premises include a hot tub, Guest is fully aware that the hot tub and surrounding deck/patio area can be dangerous. Hot tubs can CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY/AND OR DEATH. The deck/patio can be slippery when wet and that injury is likely to occur to anyone who is not careful. Guest should adhere to all rules and policies as posted at the Premises. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, Guest accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of the hot tub and deck/patio areas. All Guests Enter Hot Tub at your own risk. Hot tub rules are posted at Hot Tub. Hot tubs are closed after 10pm to observe quiet hours.
12. Maintenance. Owner will diligently attempt to address maintenance issues as they occur. If a maintenance issue occurs that cannot be fixed in a reasonable amount of time, and significantly affects the Guest’s stay, Owner may issue a discount or refund at its discretion or relocate Guest to another property. Guest is required to report any maintenance needs for the Premises to Owner as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to, heating, plumbing, appliances, televisions, and stereos.
13. Express Indemnity. Guest, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors and administrators, invitees and all other guests occupying the Premises (for the purposes of this paragraph, collectively, the “Guest”), fully releases and discharges the owner of the Premises from any and all claims, demands and causes of action by reason of injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to Guest as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the Premises and agrees to hold owner of the property free and harmless of any claim or suit arising therefrom. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this Agreement, their principles, agents, successors or assignees, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs. Due to the steep and dangerous cliffs, Guest acknowledges there is no beach or ocean access from the property.
14. Maximum Occupancy. Please refer to Property profile for specific occupancy limits, these limits are strictly enforced. If Guest exceeds the occupancy limit, this shall be deemed grounds for immediate termination and eviction with no refund of Rent. Also subject to $250 fine.
15. Entire Contract. Time is of the essence. All prior agreements between Owner and Guest are incorporated in this Agreement, which constitutes the entire contract between the parties. It is intended as a final expression of the parties’ agreement, and may not be contradicted by evidence of any prior agreement or contemporaneous oral agreement.
