"Like another review stated, we wish we booked a longer stay at Tagus Marina Houseboat! We booked this for our last night in Lisbon, to be close to the airport and to surprise the kids with a neat experience and did we ever succeed! The houseboat was fully equipped for longer stays and was extremely comfortable for us 4 - two adults, two children (9&7). "The property is children friendly so great place to stay for families. It is also close to the airport which is convenient but it is little distant from city centre, something to be aware of. It is close to Oceanarium and Science Center which are great venue for kids and great that under 8 child care in the afternoon is included. "

"I thought this would be an interesting experience. What I didn’t know, and the listing did not say, is that downstairs there is a bar where music plays until 4 in the morning! The BASE from it was vibrating in my bed 2 floors above it, so we could not sleep! Unfortunately, my booking was for 3 nights, but by midnight on the first night I was already looking for another hotel. When I complained about the noise, they offered me to move 1 floor higher, but I knew the music was blasting through the...

"We loved our little apartment within the castle walls! Wonderful communication and assistance from the hosts, very clean and well-supplied, and very comfortable. The location requires an uphill walk from the historic center, but a frequent bus is also available. We enjoyed escaping to the charming, small streets of the castle in the evenings and were surprised at how quiet it was. Highly recommend!"
