Luxury log home on .6 acre with aspen and pine trees, wildlife, 100' deck with 22' covered porch, trail access, mountain views, extensive gardens, picnic tables, multiple outdoor sitting areas, 1 GB high speed Internet, and quality original artwork. Three full bathrooms. Upstairs Hummingbird MBR with king bed, ensuite bath, private deck, views of Twin Sisters Peak, and staircase to fenced garden. Long's Peak Bedroom with log bed. Cowboy Bunk Room with amazing twin over full log bunk bed and sturdy baby/toddler crib. Family retreat suite, which can be made private, includes queen Murphy bed, 66" Sony HDTV, en suite bath, wet bar with small refrigerator, porch access, and garden atrium with sitting bench, sink, and flowers. All bedrooms have colorful handmade quilts. Fully equipped kitchen with dining area, spices, oils, coffee, tea, cocoa, and modern small appliances. Comfortable living room with soaring ceiling, deck access, views of Kruger Rock, 48" Sony HDTV, books, puzzles, and games. Full laundry facilities.

One outside security camera monitors the driveway only for your safety.

This home is an ideal family getaway with cozy indoor accommodations and convenient access to outdoor adventure.

The cabin was perfect for our family. We had a great stay and enjoyed the home and location! We would stay here again. Everything was well stocked and communication was great from owner. Only constructive criticism is the early check out at 10 am with having to wash the towels before check out. That meant that all 7 of us needed to be showered and ready to go by 9am in order to have the towels through with washing by 10. Other than that we throughly enjoyed our stay.

This is the perfect mountain getaway for several families to share. The location was perfect; just far enough from town to feel like you're in the mountains and a quick drive to RMNP. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to do some large family meals. The BBQ was convenient on the deck and the deer that seemed to call the property their home made for some excitement for our grandson. The living space was extremely comfortable and there was nothing we felt like we needed that wasn't provided. This is the best vacation rental we've ever stayed in!

We had an excellent stay. The home has three distinct sleeping areas which made staying with family, including a child, very easy. The location is convenient to get into many areas of Estes Park, but set in a picturesque, quiet location. We’d love to stay here again.

Great place to stay. Easy check-in. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Bill & Tammy called and made sure we had everything we needed. The wildlife is amazing! The views were beautiful. Will definitely stay again!!

The home is located in a very convenient area to access Estes Park and RMNP. There is plenty of space and beds for a large family or group. We enjoyed seeing deer in the front yard and herds of elk near by. The home is extremely well stocked. I would book again when visiting RMNP. Highly recommend!

Spacious log house, fully stocked, 2 miles from downtown

Perfect accommodations for our family of 6 (3 couples). Three bathrooms is great. Kitchen was amazingly well stocked (blender, hot water pot, coffee filters, spices, trash bags, foil, soap, Bosch dishwasher . . . ). Deer walked the property daily (bucks, doe and two fawns). Wonderful deck on two sides allowed you to sit in sun or shade, depending on your preference. Washer/dryer were nice addition. Great beds and showers. Easy drive to downtown. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Home away from home

What a fabulous recharge and reconnect for our family this week. Larkspur Landing is the perfect place to stay. Just beautiful! Our family of 7 had room to spread out as well as room for gathering together. We enjoyed morning walks and coffee on the porch watching the birds and critters. So peaceful! We appreciated the Emslies’ thoughtfulness in making sure we were well cared for. Hope to come back soon!

Wonderful place! Hope to come back!

Beautiful place with plenty of room! We had 2 adults and 3 kids. Very nicely stocked kitchen and bathrooms made our stay easy and comfortable. The host was easy and very pleasant to communicate with. Very close to both downtown Estes Park and RMNP. We would stay here again without hesitation!

GORGEOUS CABIN!

My family (including a 2 and 6 year old) had a wonderful vacation at this cabin! It was even better than we were expecting. It was the best stocked rental we have ever seen. The kitchen had so many appliances and more than enough dinnerware. The cabin is well kept and nicely decorated. Everyone in our party of 8 had room to spread out and sleep comfortably. Bill was very responsive when we had an issue with the toilet and came out to fix it. It was the best place we have stayed in Estes Park and we can’t wait to come back. They are excellent hosts!

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well celebrated the New Year. The home was well stocked and in close proximity to everything; the hosts were great as well, always answering questions and giving us points of interest. I would definitely re-visit!

Perfect Christmas Break

We brought our three adult children and two son-in-laws to Estes Park for Christmas. We had plenty of room to cook, bake, do puzzles, and watch movies. We appreciated the privacy of each bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had everything we needed to prepare our favorite soups, breakfasts, meals, and cookies for the holiday.

Family time in Estes

We very much enjoyed our time at this lovely place. It was clean and comfortable. You can tell it’s cared for with concern and comfort for its guests and decorated with love. Even had some deer visit us. Beautiful!

Exceptional Stay!

I would book this house again without hesitation. It is beautiful, well located and very comfortable for a family. There really is a nice park a block away! I very much appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners - coffee and candy in the kitchen, amenities for children, thoughtful decor, comfortable beds, etc. The separate family TV room was a great bonus. We could hang out, close the door and our toddler slept peacefully.

Wonderful log home!

Wonderful log home with everything you could need! Our family of 6 plus one infant had plenty of space. Close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park restaurants and shopping. Hosts treated us as guests and we reciprocated by being appreciative and respectful of the hosts property.
