"Our stay was terrible. The Air Conditioning was out of service as a result our room was very hot. Could not sleep at all. The staff kept saying that someone was going to fix it. Unfortunately it was never fixed."

The location was terrific to come and go to Vassar and the restaurants and stores along route 9. Plenty of parking. The rooms were comfortable and ready. "Not a bad motel if you can get a room at a decent price. Room was fairly spacious and clean. Bathroom is a bit small but the room makes up for it. I particularly liked that housekeeping respected your privacy sign if you didn't want or need them for anything. Front desk was very friendly and easy to check in/out. "A gem of a place. Clean and well maintained. The desk clerk provided a very good suggestion for dinner which was close but we did not know about. Breakfast was better than at most hotels. We would gladly stay there again."

"Telephone, desk lamp and chair were filthy; items were cleaned the next day. Also, stuffed chair and ottoman were stained. Only one was cloth and hand towel in the bathroom; this was also corrected the next day. I was disappointed by the room but was very satisfied by the response to my complaints by the staff."

"This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside."

"In general, this hotel is run down. The hotel carpets are in need of cleaning. When I was barefooted on them, the carpet felt damp and dirty. The room had an extremely strong smell of room freshener. The parking lots was not well marked for spaces and the back door entrance either stuck or was slammed closed a lot. It was a barely adequate. The woman at the desk was very nice and hospitable. I would not stay here again if I were in the area."

"The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...
