"We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. "From the moment we arrived till the morning we left we were made very welcome by all the people involved in running the OYO . They went above and beyond to help us out from Georgia booking taxis for us to my friend behind the bar going to his house to get me cigarettes when I had run out big thanks (hope you enjoy Edinburgh 👍👍👍) cleanliness spot on ,food amazing,and very reasonable for top quality,. would recommend to anyone looking forward to seeing you all again thanks "

"Lovely deluxe room with balcony and views over the grounds and river Tees, at a very reasonable price. The bar seemed short-staffed, leading to having to wait a while for service sometimes (not a reflection on the staff themselves, who were helpful and efficient)."

"This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable."
