"We were very late checking in (11pm) and had to be on our way at 8am, so shortest ever hotel stay for us.
Hotel is in a good location, to the west of Newbury. Check in went smoothly and I understand our rooms were upgraded, which we greatly appreciated - the air con especially.
Bed was super comfy, spare pillows in wardrobe (which we always appreciate), there were plenty of hot drink options in room and body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion available in bathroom which...

"The staff were friendly the room was clean. However, plumbing was shocking when a person in another room showered at the same time the cold water pressure dropped and risked scolding. In the room we were in there was poor ventilation with no aircon room was stiffling at night."

"We were looking for an overnight stop travelling back North from Southampton and came across here. There was a big extension being built to the front of the pub so parking was difficult but otherwise caused no inconvenience. We had 3 rooms and all were very comfortable and well equipped . What stood out about this place was the staff, all were genuinely lovely and friendly. Checked in and personally shown to our rooms. We ate at the pub and the food was quickly served and was simply delicious...
