"We enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent. The layout of the house well suited our group of 3 families with young children Lovely large backyard. Having 2 kitchens was a plus! I would say housekeeping could be a bit improved. For example the coffee pot had not been cleaned out, dust under furniture and a dirty entry rug.Also general upkeep as we encountered some very minor problems; door handle falling off, curtain rod brackets coming off the wall and broken kitchen utensils. "Owners were great from the start with good communication and responsive. Location was ideal for access to all that Door County offers. Its central location in the quaint town of Ephraim makes most of Door County’s destinations within easy striking distance. The loft is nicely and uniquely furnished, comfortably useable , with a nice view overlooking the lake. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay again."

"It was our first time in the area and it was perfect for what we needed. It had all the amenities, charm, and comfort. My favorite part was the location/neighborhood because it was quiet and right next to the nature park (perfect for our dogs). It was also just a short walk to the water/restaurants. "

"Quaint. Listing was accurate. Everything we needed was there. One concern, previous guests left their final trash bag in driveway (it was there when we arrived) and it never was addressed in our 4 day stay. Would do it again."

"We loved the open concept of the living room, kitchen and dining area. Beds were very comfortable. Home was very clean. The side yard is close to a busy road. Don’t hear to much when sleeping but would be an issue for yard events. They provide Collegan water as well water has a funny tast. "

"Our family has stayed at Collings Log House multiple times. And we keep returning. Its location is perfect, surroundings serene, the cabin just the right size for us. With multiple visits, we feel like “we’re home” when we arrive. Communication is quick between the management and ourselves when needed. I’m now plotting when I can return….happiest holidays to you and yours. "

"This is a unique property for large group gatherings. The house and individual hotel-style rooms provided a good mix of gathering space with private downtime. The adventure shed and outdoor space provide lots of variety. Quick walk or bike ride to Anderson Dock and Wilson's Ice cream. Access to Land Trust trails provide nice light hike. Overall a great property with something for everyone. Some small cautions -- the road is very busy and there was no deadbolt on the doors. Watch small children...
