Perfect place to use as a base for our trip

We loved staying at Opal house. It is cozy, spotlessly clean, and had a well equipped kitchen. We were able to walk all around town. Such a good place to stay.

We really enjoyed the house! It was perfect for our granddaughters, as they enjoyed going to town for shopping and ice cream. Great location, easy walk to everything in town, and close drive to some nice hiking trails, lakes and the Wolf and Bear centers.

Great place to stay ! Super clean and quaint. It was super cold when we arrived so there was an adjustment to be made with the heat . The manager was excellent with following up on it. Would definitely stay again!

Marathon weekend

A lot to do around town and outdoor activities everywhere. Hiking, canoeing, site seeing, North American Bear Center is fabulous. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance and shopping!

Wonderful home and location

Opal House was a great location for our long weekend in Ely. Great location to walk to a coffee shop latte in the morning or dinner and drinks in the evening. The home was really cute, beds were incredibly comfy, water pressure in the shower was great… all the comforts of home. It was a great stay!

We traveled to Ely to see my daughter and our grand babies. Home was 4 blocks from where daughter lives. It was in a wonderful location, walkable to downtown and the parks. Lots of character, clean, and inviting. Chad returned my texts promptly and answered all my questions. Our family had a wonderful week and will definitely use Opal House in the future!

Wonderful northern retreat!

We loved the opal house! The recent renovation was just perfect and every small detail was done just right. We loved the convenience to downtown Ely and the park. The property contact was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again!

So charming!

My parents and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect in every way. First, the location is ideal as we could walk to so many restaurants and stores. Second, the front porch was spacious enough to sit and watch the world go by. Last, the furnishings we’re comfortable and adorable! I would stay here again for sure!

Great Property!

We enjoyed the charm of this property for a week’s stay in Ely. Walking distance to town that offers a variety of restaurants and shops. Great space for our family of four adults and two children. Home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Great space in the bedrooms and updated kitchen. We highly recommend this home for your stay in Ely!

Everything we needed

Such a comfortable stay for us. We had come as vendors for the Blueberry Art festival and this was the perfect spot! Walking distance to the park, downtown and still a quiet neighborhood. Very much enjoyed the air conditioning as it was crazy hot that weekend! The house was clean and comfy and the porch was a great spot to relax.. thank you!

Nice stay in Ely

This cute home in downtown Ely is nicely appointed and conveniently located. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only downside was a few squeaky stairs that made it hard for early risers to sneak downstairs and not wake others!

Comfortable home

Cute older home near center of town. Plenty of room in the home to spread out. Well stocked kitchen with great appliances and cookware. Nice TVs in living room and both bedrooms. Bed and linens comfy and great bath towels! Central air conditioner kept us cool.

Ely Getaway

Spent several days in Ely to get away from the city and do some hiking. The home was very clean and well appointed. Bedrooms are large, especially the second bedroom. Beds were also comfortable. The location is ideal for walking to the restaurants and shops. With the unseasonably warm weather the central air conditioning was greatly appreciated.

Great cozy home for our long book club weekend.

Our book club stayed here 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The home is clean, cute, and well-provisioned. Chad was easy to communicate with; he told us the home was a set for an upcoming movie, and then gave us the title of the book the movie was based on. The home is very close to downtown, where we ate several times - and attended the Taylor Swift movie opening. During our stay we also went to the International Wolf Center and hiked a couple times. Would definitely stay in this home again.
