1897 Queen Anne style home restored inside and out. 4 Bedrooms, each with their own private bath, 1 king size bed, 2 queen size beds, 1 double. Professional grade kitchen, front and back porches, 2 living rooms, dining room. Off street parking. Close to the Finger Lakes where you can take a wine tour, Corning Museum of Glass, Watkins Glen where Watkins Glen International Raceway is located, and minutes from Elmira College, The Clemens Center. WOW!! This place is a must. We were like kids in a candy store. So much to see. Kevin and Eileen have renovated this home so beautifully. They have maintained the ancestral feel, but updated all of the important things (bathrooms and kitchen). There is so much space - inside and out. I’m just sad that we didn’t spend more time at the house. From the moment I booked, Eileen and Kevin were super helpful and very responsive. We will be back next year…and I’m not just saying that. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us Kevin and Eileen!

Beautiful house . There were 5 of yup and we all loved it . Very spacious and beautifully decorated . 4 nice sized bedrooms with full baths. . Not far from all the Finger lake attractions Would definitely come again

The house was simply a totally awesome experience

The extremely well stocked home was so comfortable and beautiful. It was an experience to be able to stay in this lovely Victorian home with all the modern comforts and space. Our family totally enjoyed the convenience to near by attractions in Seneca Lake, Corning, Ithaca, Watkins Glen and lovely restaurants within walking distance.The owners were so kind and accommodating I would highly recommend this home to larger groups or couples. We really loved it!

Hometown Visit/Family Reunion

Our entire family grew up in Elmira but over time all have moved to different areas of country. Sadly, the eldest sibling past away last year so a Celebration of Life in our home town was in order. This home was the perfect spot to meet up with old Elmira friends and anchor all the activities from. Beautiful home, resorted & furnished to the historical time of Elmira’s economic peak. I bet Mark Twain spent time there back in the day. Includes all the modern amenities & plenty of room to spread out. Nice folks too, well done.

Elmira Gem

Coffee in the parlor sitting in the 1897 home, flooded with ideas of how families and others lived in this house, with the wide stairs to the second floor and the wonderful bedrooms with en suites, was a great place to be. The house is perfect. Elmira and Corning are a wonderful long weekend visit. The house is exceptional and response to our needs were also fantastic. Perfect. (Whomever stole the coffee grinder, bad on them.)

Family gathering

House was a great gathering space. 6 adults stayed at the location and we had local family visit us while we there. The house was just as advertised and fully stalked for our needs. The added bonus aside from the great weather was the screened porch out back, the table and chairs on the lawn and the delightful front porch to drink our morning coffee. Will definitely stay there again if needed and recommend it others.

Perfect house for nearby College Graduation weekend

My family (teenagers to grandparents) stayed at this beautiful house for the weekend of my older son’s graduation at Cornell. The house was unbelievable; the pictures don’t do it justice! Amazingly restored with spacious rooms, gorgeous porches and a fantastic yard, this house was perfect for the eight of us. It was an easy 40 minute drive to Ithaca. The town, Elmira, has clearly seen better days, but it still offers a few nice parks and is close to other attractions.

We had a wonderful time for the weekend just being with family. The house is absolutely stunning and immaculate. I am hoping we will make another trip back some day in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful yard too.

Thanksgiving getaway

I booked this place in March 2023, for our yearly Canadian Thanksgiving getaway, with our Canadian and American friends.. This place is everything and more that states in there ad, pictures do it no justice...this place was the perfect spot for our getaway, from the spacious kitchen, to the formal dining room, the fact that all 4 bedrooms, have there own bathrooms, was great for all 8 guest...parking is enough for 4 vehicles, the access to local stores was awesome.. I give this rental 5 stars...Keith Hamilton

Fantastic Stay!

We had the most amazing week at this house! The property is incredible! We were in the area for a horse show at the Chemung County Fairgrounds. The owners were great to work with - they are very helpful! The house was perfect for parents staying with teenagers. We had plenty of space in the bedrooms. Each bathroom was fantastic. We had different schedules/ times we were leaving, but the house was quiet for those who were trying to sleep. The bedroom/ bathroom layout accomodated us well! Each room feels very private. The kitchen had everything we needed to pack lunches and prepare dinners. We spent evenings relaxing on the porches. We hope to return next year!
