This gorgeous property offers sunsets, water views, and waterfront activities nearby. It is a family hideaway from the world with everything you need right here. Wake up to the deer on the lawn, listen to the loons sing, cook s'mores in the firepit by the stars. It is quiet, clean, well stocked, yet close to activities if you do want to leave this peaceful oasis. This 2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is beautifully furnished indoors and outdoors. It has ample space to relax and enjoy a getaway with all the comforts and conveniences of home.



MAIN FLOOR:The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, mixers, blender, baking supplies and more. There is a beautiful propane range, large refrigerator, and dishwasher with tons of space on the granite counters.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed, 2 full closets, AC, water view and an ensuite full bathroom with a walk in shower.



DOWNSTAIRS: The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, full bathroom and sitting room with another daybed that will sleep two (two twin beds). There is a full sized washer and dryer and plenty of storage!

There is also a propane grill and outdoor seating to enjoy the summer feasts. The outdoor deck has a gorgeous water and sunset view, and is a great place to relax under the awning. This open and sunny home has plenty of room to spread out and watch TV, watch the sunset, or head outside to sunbathe! This home is close to everything, for kayaking, shopping, hiking and restaurants. Rent kayaks for your stay, and put them in the water within a mile from the house. Walk along the water, past the horse farm for a little exercise and fresh air.



Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are approximately 15 miles away. Schoodic Point, and downeast Maine are approximately 18 miles. Ellsworth is just 3 miles away with shopping, restaurants, Shaws grocery store, LL Bean Outlet, Renys and more. There is hiking, swimming, antiquing, and more in the area with plenty of maps and brochures at the house.

Check IN is at 3pm, Check OUT is at 10 am. Please be aware of the times, there are people coming and going most days.



All pillows, towels, and bedding is provided. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans. The coffee maker is a drip kind. There are house instructions in the welcome book just inside the door as well.

RENTAL RULES



Smoking and vaping are NOT allowed ANYWHERE on the property. Not inside, not outside. If smoking is detected inside the house, there will be an automatic $600 cleaning fee charged to your credit card.

Illegal activities are NOT allowed on the property, including, but not limited to, illegal substances, illegal drugs, and underage drinking.

People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.



If you are adding guest(s) to the guest party we must be notified IN ADVANCE of your reservation. In addition, the total number of guests must not exceed the maximum capacity of the home allowed.

The unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.



Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.

Only use appliances for their intended uses.

DOGS ONLY are allowed on this property. All pets must have been accepted in advance, and have a pet addendum signed. All pets require a pet fee paid in advance.

Fire pits are not allowed.

Swim at your own risk. Be aware of the tides, and storms coming in. Kayaks can be rented locally, and are not supplied.



Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.



Water and Septic: The property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or wipes should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products or wipes have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged for damages/repairs. When using the washer and dryer, please note that there may be minerals in the water which may affect the contents of the wash.



Check IN is at 3 pm, Check OUT is at 10 am. Please pay attention to these times, the cleaners will be working to prepare the property promptly.

Please move any furniture, toys, bedding, etc back to where you found it before leaving.



Please clean the outdoor grill, table tops, range, counter tops, dishes, etc. before you leave. Please start a load of towels in the washing machine. Please strip sheets and put them on top of the beds. Please read the guest book for more relative instructions regarding your specific rental.

Please put trash out on trash day specific to your property. Instructions can be found in the guest book. We use garbage tags that we pay for, at most properties. Put your white kitchen garbage bags into one black outdoor garbage bag, and put ONE tag on the black bag only. If you are confused, please refer to the guest book, or call the property manager. It is important that trash goes out on trash days.



Recycling in Maine is not what it used to be. We are taking returnables only, that are redeemable for money. You can take them yourself to redeem or leave them in a separate bag for pick up. We do not recycle glass, misc. plastic, aluminum, etc.



Please report anything broken or damaged as soon as possible.
