Ellison Bay Eclectic Style Cottage

Located just minutes from downtown Ellison Bay, this eclectic cottage offers convenience to attractions and dining, while providing a private sanctuary-like experience! The home boasts two (2) master suites- each with private bath, as well as studio above garage (3 bedrooms total). The entire home is furnished with all of the items needed for a true Door County vacation: Firepit/place, bbq, outdoor shower, bocce court, bicycles, and stand up paddle boards! New hot tub! March 11th! 2022!!!!! This modern style home offers guests a great cooks kitchen with everything included to make a fresh, locally sourced meal. The kitchen shares the first floor with a dining and living room, all bathed in natural light from the complete wall of windows. The main house offers two (2) master bedrooms with en suite baths, both filled with sunlight and offering serene views of the wooded lot. The above-garage loft offers sleeping accommodations for two with a wet bar. Step out the rear entry and take advantage of the multiple exterior areas to lay your head after a long summer/fall day. Outdoor shower, Firepit, & Bocce Ball Court are sure to keep you entertained. There are (4) bikes, (1) canoe, (2) kayaks, and (2) stand-up paddle boards, available in the garage, free of charge (use at your own risk). New for the winter! Snowshoes + toboggan are ready to go at the house! This property is perfect for a quiet weekend away, shared space with friends and family, bridal parties, and private events! For individual stays, take advantage of our availability calendar and booking tool. If you are looking to host an event with us, please message for further details! Also: - first fat stack of wood free, after $8.00 a bundle! or you can bring our own! - we will shop for you as well, for cost of food + standard labor rate! - we love dogs! so if your bringing them please say so! its only $50.00 extra per stay for your furry family to join!!!! Guest will have access to Garage if needed for storage of bikes etc. Text or Phone calls are welcome Small town feel with great restaurants, a cooking school, Apple/Pear Distillery, and close to the water! - Close to many great sunset spots - Ellison Bay free bike rack - Four (4) cruiser bikes (see pictures) in Garage for your use. - Dinner at Wickman House - Fish Fry's at the Viking - Art galleries, etc. - Newport State Park and Europe Lake - Tennis courts are near by with rackets included at the house for your enjoyment - Your own Bocce Ball Court/Horseshoe Pit - 2 kayaks and 2 standup paddle boards are included with your stay! Cute but aging

Cabin is amazing but host is not responsive. Did not send the check-in information and did not respond to messages. Got lucky and ran into the lawn care man at the property who helped me in. Also very easy to lock yourself out of the cabin if you aren’t careful.

family getaway

Enjoyed our stay but their are a number of things the owner needs to do to improve stay. Missed the driveway twice because the address is hiden behind bushes. Relocate the number or clean up around it. I would even make a bigger sign since you're on a blind corner. The keys unlock the deadbolts but the handles have what I would call a child proof feature. You need to push button in on the door for them to work. If you happen to use the deadbolt again and not push in the button again you will lock yourself out. Put in regular locks. Listing said first bundle of firewood was free and 3-4 more should be avalible to buy. We only had four piece avalible from an open bundle and nothing extra to buy. Good thing we brought our own. Small ash shovel would be nice. We all used the hot tub. A light on the deck would be a nice feature. Outdoor shower did not work. Not sure if the water was shut off already. Studio room in the garage was used. No running water. The drain to the sink is not hooked up. Thankfully we noticed this before someone poured water down it. No bathroom in garage so you need to go over to house. Not a big deal but you have a large rock for your step with no handrail to hold onto when stepping up. Put up some curtains or frost the windows that you have in the bathroom showers. One can be seen from the road the other can be seen by the neighbors. Bocce ball overgrown with weeds. I'd stay again and recommend place. Hopefully owner reads his reveiws.
