Relaxing Cabin on a Beautiful Mountain Stream

  • Artfully renovated and nestled on a 78-acre private farm in the mountains, this charming cabin is the perfect getaway to recharge your batteries and soothe your soul. Enjoy the sounds of nature and a flowing stream from the spacious back deck. For hiking and mountain-bike enthusiasts, mountain trails, beautiful ponds, creeks, and forests are right outside your door. Stay warm (or cool) in climate-controlled comfort. Cozy up in front of a quaint, wood burning stove in a den with a large screen cable TV and WiFi. This cabin also has a fully equipped kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, pots & pans, utensils, dinnerware and limited spices); two bedrooms (one king and one queen); a spacious bathroom; and a washer and dryer.

    RV hook-ups (electric only) are located adjacent to cabin for larger group gatherings. A fire pit and charcoal grill are also provided. A 6-acre stocked pond is located on the property for fishing enthusiasts.

    This cabin is located just minutes from several attractions, including the restaurant’s and shops of Historic Ellijay, Georgia; Red Apple Barn, a variety of wineries, and trails for biking and hiking. Amicalola Falls and the Appalachian Trail are just a 45-minute drive and Chattanooga, Tennessee, is 65 miles northwest of this cabin hideaway.

    The property is gated to ensure privacy. Dogs are welcome.

Once we got there it is a very nice place. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. Once I got to know the drive there and back to downtown Ellijay, it wasn’t as bad as I first thought. Well worth the trip there.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We found the place to be super clean, very accommodating, very comfortable. The bed was great. One of the things that we especially liked was the fact that it was very quiet in the area. Some may not like that, but for us, it was really important. We would stay here again.

Love the quiet serene ‘farm’ feel. Great outdoor attractions , Lake Carter, Fort Mountain and Cohutta. So good to get away from all the traffic and cement!
