The tumbling waters of Bear Creek splashes through a lush forest just west of Ellijay. This creek is one of the most beautiful creek valleys in the state, and for this reason, it's equally popular among hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers. With abundant wildflowers, blankets of soft green moss, and a visit to the Gennett Poplar tree (the second largest tree in Georgia) the Bear Creek Trail has long been one of the favorite hikes in North Georgia. The trail climbs and splits in a junction with the Pinhoti Trail. If fishing is what excites you, join others that have spent hours without disappointment, fishing this creek for brown and rainbow trout. And all of this is just footsteps from the cabin! Enjoy the spectacular fire pit patio right at the waters edge, roasting marshmallows or maybe just relaxing in the hammock as the sounds of the creek and nature lull you into a blissful sleep. Although you most likely won't spend a lot of time inside the cabin, if you do, you won't be disappointed there either! As mentioned, everything about the cabin has been renovated and everything is brand new. And although you may have spotty cell phone reception in this area, you will have fiber so internet won't be an issue, so bring the laptop if you feel the need. And for those times that the power goes out (it does happen in the mountains), no worries, a full house generator will keep you happy and comfortable regardless of the weather!

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig/Drip Combo, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
Linens for each bed, (2) bath towels (1) hand towel (1) washcloth per person listed on reservation, dressers or closets for clothing storage, central heat and air, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, telephone for local calls.
In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).
Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items.
The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
