The 'Gone Fishin Cabin' is centrally located approx 30 mins from Savannah, Pooler, and Statesboro and only 20 mins west of I-95! The cabin sits on an 8 acre estate which boasts a 1 acre stocked pond with dock. Enjoy catch and release fishing (poles provided), a paddle boat ride, or just sitting on the patio by the fire. Pet friendly - entire property is fenced! With its secluded and quiet atmosphere and woodsy cabin interior, this little cabin will make you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle while still being close!!! (Pets must be listed on your booking)

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin had everything we were looking for and more—beautifully decorated, well appointed, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, communication with the host was excellent, and parking was convenient. It was also very pet-friendly—our dog loved it there. Highly recommend!

If you are anywhere near Savannah, you should consider a two night stay at this awesome cabin. So well done, private, and every need has been anticipated. Dayle was an excellent host and really the epitome of Georgia hospitality and class. Being pet friendly was a huge plus. Hope we can stay there again soon! a 10 out of 10!

The perfect home away from home! Everything was wonderful and so many thoughtful touches that I noticed! To the extra toiletries in the bathroom to the dog bowl with toys. This cabin has such an at home feel. Very relaxing and cozy. Very nice host as well! We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful cabin life

This place is amazing, wonderful host, wonderful cabin, the chickens had 2 daily visits, was able to make a couple meals for the family, what a great vacation, its going yo be difficult to return to normal

Our stay at the "Gone fishing" cabin was amazing! The host was there to greet us when we got there and were so accommodating. The property itself was so beautiful. When you walked inside, it was very cozy. Dayle and Chris had it beautifully decorated and there were little touches many VRBOs don't usually have which made you feel at home. If you needed anything, they were very quick to respond as well. My husband and I would highly recommend this place and would stay again!

Peace and relaxation haven

Amazing hosts and cabin, cabin doesn’t do it justice. Well appointed and decorated. Want to be close to Savannah but stay in the country, this is the place. No hotel can compare to the hospitality and personal touch of Daryland Chris!

My husband and I were looking to stay for 1 night near Savannah, GA. It is a little off the beaten path, but fit the bill for us. The cabin was cozy and clean, and was perfect for the 2 of us and our 12 lb dog.

Beautiful lil cottage

We were just passing through, but this place made us want to stay! Beautiful, lovely decor, and it is quiet and safe. Lights on the driveway and fountain in the pond at night were such a wonderful touch! The beds are super comfortable. Hosts are helpful and responsive. We came in on a stormy day and Daryl assured us they had a generator should we need it. Would love to stay again!

Peaceful, All-you-need Family Vacation

Wow… just wow. We’re from SW Florida and my family and I were on a trip for my women’s rugby tournament. Originally, we booked 3 days and 2 nights. Dayle and Chris were very friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. The pictures did not do this place enough justice. It is so much bigger and more spacious than we imagined; each bed was so comfy and we had EVERYTHING we needed and more! Dayle was very quick to respond to any questions/requests. After my tournament, we came back to the most quiet and peaceful scene. My husband and I got to enjoy some time fishing while our little girls hung out in the cabin safely playing indoors for a bit. There’s so much space to play outside. On our last 2 days, it started raining but that didn’t ruin our fun. We loved our stay so much that we HAD to book an additional night and that was so seamless with Dayle’s help. Again, this place and their hospitality could not compare to any other place. We certainly plan on returning many more times and hopefully for a holiday getaway. We would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone of any age. Animals, little ones, etc. We felt right at home. This place truly felt like a home away from home and we are so grateful. Dayle and Chris, if you see this, thank you so much! Our family needed this and you fulfilled that for us.

Great cabin rental

We loved our stay in the fishing cabin. My son had a great time catching many fish. My dogs were happy and had lots of outside time to play as well. Cabin is completely stocked for what you need while away from home, very clean n comfortable abd close to shopping as well. My husband wasnt sure about staying on same property with owners right next door but let me say they dont bother you you are completely left alone unless you need something so if youre looking dont let that scare you away definitely a hidden gem, take a chance you won't be disappointed!

Dayle was so incredibly helpful and sweet during our stay. We wanted to carve pumpkins so he set up heaters, lights, and buckets. The property is beautiful and the dogs loved it.

The Perfect Getaway

We have traveled all over the county and this property by far exceeded all our expectations and then some. If you are looking for a place that is family oriented or even looking for a quiet weekend away this is a hidden gem. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everyone from our children and grandkids will have everlasting memories of their time we spent together and we are looking forward to our next stay.
