When we first arrived at the property, the front desk clerk seemed inconvenienced and visibly annoyed. I brushed it off, assuming it was just a busy Friday night at a casino hotel and that they probably deal with a lot of high-energy guests. However, the service was disappointing right from the start. We were checked in without being told anything about our room—no room number, no directions, and no information about the hotel’s amenities. When I asked questions, the clerk seemed irritated and dismissive. After noticing that our room key card didn’t have a room number on it, we went back to the desk to clarify. The response was cold and almost confrontational, as if we were causing a problem by asking.
We decided to shake it off and enjoy celebrating our friend’s anniversary and birthday without checking the room first—big mistake. When we finally got to the room later that night, we discovered the air conditioning unit was completely broken—no airflow at all. The pillows were lumpy, the mattress had a deep indentation. To top it off, housekeeping started knocking on doors at 7 AM—on a weekend—despite check-out not being until 11.
As a local, I’ve stayed here a few times when friends and family come to town, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I tried to share my concerns with staff, but no one seemed to care. Very disappointing overall. Hopefully this was just a fluke and not the new standard, because I’ve had better experiences here
