  • Your peaceful getaway awaits in Elkhart at this fully equipped Heaton Lake cabin. The home includes two bedrooms featuring a queen bed and a full bed. A daybed in the living room provides two additional twin beds. The two bathrooms include a walk-in shower, and washer/dryer. Guests will find their stay here enjoyable and relaxing. Enjoy beautiful lake views, kayak or paddle board rides, eating on the deck overlooking the water, and many games for the family to play. Make fantastic memories with a stay on Heaton Lake. Two adult kayaks, one children's kayak, two paddle boards, badminton gear, hammocks, and fishing poles are available for guest's use. Maximum of 3 parking spots available, including private access to the garage via remote during your stay. Full private access to the house includes all linens, shampoo and conditioner, coffee maker and Keurig with supplies, and washer and dryer. There is a second fridge in the garage that is stocked with condiments, drinks, and ice cream that all guests are welcome to enjoy at no cost. Come visit the local amenities including the RV hall of fame, Lerner Theatre, Elkhart Aquatics, Heritage Trail, and many more.

The lake house was a wonderful quiet place to stay. It has all the amenities you need. The beds are so comfortable you dont want to get up. The views are amazing also with not to far of a drive to the store. Also if we had questions the host was so fast to reply. Definitely recommend staying here, were already want to come back.

Beautiful and convenient lake cottage

This property was wonderful! Great use of the space and very clean and beautiful decor! Peaceful lake and having the kayaks was perfect. If we need to be in the area again, will book here for sure!

Sweet spot!

We had the the pleasure of enjoying this sweet spot in the winter. It was fun watching the ice fishers and the birds. The cabin is clean and cozy.

Although, February is not the greatest time to visit Elkhart, IN, this little cabin made it worthwhile. It was cozy, as advertised, but also clean and well-appointed with amenities and welcoming decor. Our host was perfect, delivering on what was necessary, and letting us have our space otherwise. It is a bit confusing navigating, but our host gave very clear directions. Also, although this place is well maintained and classy, there are other properties that aren't. Please don't let that deter you from staying here. Have fun!

Awesome place

The size was perfect for us the view was awesome. The place is clean and since it was snowing having a garage was definitely a plus. Great communication with the owner. Lots of fun places to shop and visit. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Elkhart Getaway

This property was perfect for our needs. It was clean, bright, and supplied with all the necessities. The property manager was SUPER! She was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The area is a short drive to bike trails. The house itself has beautiful views, plus hammocks in the yard and ice cream in the freezer. A happy weekend away and a place we would visit again.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway!

We stayed for three nights (myself, my husband, and kids ages 14 and 11), and this rental was absolutely perfect for our family.The home was even nicer in person than in the photos. It appears to be recently updated, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained. It’s tastefully and simply decorated and furnished. The kitchen was especially well stocked, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus.The garage was another plus, our 3rd row SUV fit fine. The beds were very comfortable and the linens fresh and cozy. The lake is small but peaceful and perfect for swimming, floating, and kayaking (there were three kayaks available for use).We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

It is the perfect place for a get away by the water. The host provides many amenities to fully enjoy the lake and the whole cabin. I would truly recommend it.
