Cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath vacation house located close to TWO Lakes. The home is located just minutes from either Lake Russell or Strom Thurmond Lake, located in northeast Elbert County, GA. Bring your boat, water toys and all your fishing gear and choose which lake to visit each day. If fishing isn't your favorite, visit the Elbert County Wildlife Management Areas to hunt for deer, turkey & other small game. Check out their site for all hunting information.

The property features a fish cleaning station on site and even a chest freezer to preserve all the meat you catch/hunt while you stay! The yard is big enough to store your boat & trailer and features a small fenced area of the yard to keep your fur baby safe and secure. When you get back from your day at the lake (or hunting trip) relax in the yard or inside with your feet propped up!

Angler's Retreat features two bedrooms and one full bathroom with a tub and shower. One bedroom features a queen size bed with an attached entry/outdoor view of the yard. Bedroom 2 has three twin size beds in the room with all linens provided. The kitchen and laundry area are fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Location! Location! Location!. It's 5 minutes from Jodi's Bait shop. There are 5 boat ramps less than 10 minutes away that serve Lake Russell and Clarks Hill (Strom Thurmond Lake). Numerous wildlife management areas are within a short driving distance for the hunters.

Lake Russell is approximately 26,500 acres in size with 540 miles of shoreline and is one of the few lakes in the Southeast that remains undeveloped, pristine and naturally picturesque. The area provides a wide variety of recreational activities including water sports, boating, hunting, fishing and hiking. Largemouth bass and Striper fishing on Lake Russell is so popular that numerous fishing tournaments are held throughout the year.
