Note: There are no tubs in the home — all bathrooms feature showers.

We provide a starter pack of essentials including complimentary WiFi (EvergreenChateau), Netflix, tea and coffee, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer, paper towels, toilet paper, and other basics to get you started. Supplies are set up to last approximately 7 days. For longer stays, you may wish to replenish items based on your personal needs.

SECURITY & SAFETY
For your safety and enjoyment, we’ve provided complimentary pool safety gear stored in the shed for guest use. This includes life jackets (2 adult sizes, 1 medium child, and 1 infant), along with flotation devices, pool noodles, pool toys, and a kickboard.

Please note: Guests must climb stairs to access upstairs and downstairs bedrooms

Other things to note
IMPORTANT NOTES & POLICIES — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

-The gas fireplace in the lounge in the basement is currently awaiting parts and is not opertional at this time.

Fire Table Safety Notice: When using the fire table on the dining table in the gazebo, please keep the doors and windows open at all times to ensure proper ventilation. This helps prevent the buildup of smoke and gases, creating a safer and more comfortable environment for everyone. Never use the fire table in a fully enclosed space.

AMENITY AVAILABILITY:
To help you plan your stay, please note that some amenities are seasonal:
• Our outdoor heated pool, cold plunge, and sunroom are open from the May long weekend through the end of September long weekend (weather dependent).

• The fire table, BBQ, patio furniture, and gazebo furniture are available throughout the spring and summer seasons. These amenities are closed during late fall and winter and reopen each spring around the May long weekend.

• The hot tub, barrel sauna, and all indoor amenities are available year-round for guests to enjoy in every season.

Damage Protection
Every stay is protected through our partnership with Truví, which includes automated screening and damage coverage — no action needed on your part. We ask all guests to treat the space with care; any damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged back through this program.

Rental agreement
A brief rental agreement confirms you've reviewed our house rules and terms, helping ensure all stays are safe, respectful, and covered. This must be completed before your check-in instructions and door code are released.

HOT TUB RULES
· Open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM
· Registered guests only during the duration of their stay
· Hot tub temperature must be maintained between 35°C–40°C (95°F–104°F)
· Shower before use to reduce oils, lotions, and dirt in the water
· No bubble bath, soaps, or oils — $500 drain fee if found
· Limit use to 30 minutes per session
· Only potty-trained children allowed in the hot tub
· No glassware near or in the hot tub
· Swimwear only — no regular clothing (detergents create excessive foam)
· No food or drinks inside the tub
· Do not remove the chlorine or pool monitor from the hot tub
· Always replace the cover after each use

PLEASE NOTE: If glass or other debris is found in the hot tub, a full drain and clean will be charged — $500 + tax

SAUNA RULES:
-Hours of operation 8 am - 10 pm
-Sauna is intended for registered guests only during the duration of their stay
-The sauna temperature must NOT be set above 120°C
-Sauna sessions are to be limited to 30 minutes or less. For first-time users, we recommend sessions of 10–12 minutes only.
-Do not dry clothes, towels, or other textiles inside the sauna. Excess moisture may damage the wood, and fabrics placed near the heater may create a fire hazard.
-Never place combustible or flammable materials on or near the sauna heater.
-Rinse or cool down with water between sauna sessions.
-Always make sure to drink plenty of water or mineral-rich fluids after use to stay hydrated.
-Only pour water onto the heating stones using the provided ladle.
-Do not use gasoline or liquid ignitors, paper, cardboard, or garbage in the wood burning sauna

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT
· We are strict on check-in and check-out times due to our cleaning schedule, but may allow up to 2 hours of flexibility with at least 24 hours' notice. A small fee may apply and is subject to approval, as early arrivals or late departures aren't always possible. If the suite is ready sooner, we'll let you know!

LOST ITEMS
· We are not responsible for items left behind. If you think you've forgotten something, contact us right away and we'll do our best to help. A retrieval or shipping fee may apply.

MAIL & PACKAGES
· Please do not use the property address for mail or package deliveries. We are not responsible for any items received at the property during or after your stay.

MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS
· We do our best to ensure everything is in working order before your arrival. If something comes up during your stay, please let us know right away so we can address it promptly.

ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE
· There is a small nightly fee for each guest beyond 4. This helps cover extra supplies, cleaning, and general wear.
· All additional fees are subject to GST (5%) and Alberta Tourism Levy (6%) for a total of 11%.

CANCELLATIONS
‣ We follow our posted cancellation policy, please ensure that you read and understand this policy at the time of booking. We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations or travel disruptions.

GUEST SCREENING
· Profiles under 4 stars cannot use instant booking and may be cancelled if auto-approved. New profiles without reviews are manually reviewed and may require additional screening before confirmation.

EXTERIOR CAMERAS
· Please note there are exterior security cameras on both the front and back of the suite that record to the cloud 24/7 for the safety of our property and neighbourhood.

LIABILITY, VIOLATIONS & LEGAL NOTES
‣ Guests are responsible for their group. The property owner and/or management company is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage. Please report any damage promptly and return all provided items to avoid additional charges. Legal action may be taken for chargebacks or unpaid damages, including recovery of legal fees. Violations of house rules may result in immediate termination and removal without refund. Please remember you're staying in our home, not a hotel, treat it with care and respect.
