Downstairs Suite

The property was great for us. Mary was a wonderful host and the accommodation worked for the duration of our work week. The location was central, quiet and clean.

We spent 3 nights here we mostly just slept here as we were away during the day but it had everything we needed and was perfect for the 2 of us.

Our stay was great, apartment was clean and comfortable. We were in Edmonton for Nationals Volleyball at Expo Centre, less than 10 min drive which was great. Host checked with us on arrival to confirm we had everything we needed. Would definitely book again.

Very good experience overall, perfect location!!

Very good location....close to Commonwealth Stadium, West Ed Mall and Costco. Clean and quiet. Need to upgrade beds, not very comfortable.

Nice and Clean Basement

A nice and clean basement with all the necessities. The basement appears just like it does in the photos, and communication was simple and quick. The host provided us with detailed directions on how to get to the property and left us with useful notes. Host is also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was helpful. We had a great stay, thank you Mary!

Excellent clean property in a very peaceful neighbourhood

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property is very clean with comfortable beds. There were enough towels in the bathroom for the whole family of three to use. The property has also a washing and dryer machine. I also appreciate it that the owner left some toiletries to use. The bathroom has hot water. I would recommend this basement to anyone who is looking for a short/medium-term rental.

Very pleasant

We enjoyed our stay in Mary's VRBO. It's a small basement suite, but it's clean and it's very fairly priced. The biggest thing to be aware of is that there is no stove. The ad doesn't mention one, so there is no lying, but just so people don't assume there is one. There is a microwave, so you can heat things up that way. Overall, I have no complaints and would recommend the VRBO to others.

walls were all dirty. bathroom door look was broken. Beds are uncomfortable. upstairs people very loud and there is no insulation between floors. ad said sleeps up to 6 but only has 2 bedrooms and no sofa bed.

Northwest Edmonton

We stayed here for a week in March and we’re impressed overall, the communication was awesome. The two challenges we had were adding additional days at the last minute as it appears like you need a couple days notice and yes, this isn’t the owners problem. Secondly, and unfortunately we missed this when booking and looking at the pictures but this property does not offer a stove/oven. We figured this out after the Costco run. Yes, we’d stay again with different groceries.

Everything was well organised except that it was very cold. Glad the manager managed to fix it at the earliest possible time. Which means that if there were other problems, they would attend to them promptly. Thank you vurbo
