Also enjoy the covered porch & two decks for wildlife viewing (deer & turkey are regulars and in summer fireflies too. We had a great stay - beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and very useful amenities. We were also very close to our hiking and rafting activities.

This house was perfect, location is hands down one of the best if visiting the National Park. Everything inside was tastefully done and the property is perfect. I will definitely stay again when in the area.

There was weird stuff with appliances, dishwasher got clogged and quit working, hot water tank needed to be rebooted a couple of times, the stove igniters wouldnt work unless the breakers was flipped on and off, hot tub had to be rebooted to warm up, despite that it really was a nice, clean, quiet fun relaxing place

The cabin is cozy and comfy! The perfect retreat for city folks like us. We enjoyed the area immensely. Coming back to the hot tub, game room, and daily deer viewing was just the relaxation we needed after a day of adventures. We absolutely loved having our dogs with us! We look forward to future stays at this property.

Was an excellent place to spend a few days with a friend and our dogs. The host was great and helped got a left item back quickly. Kitchen was well stocked and great for cooking in a lot.

Perfect location for a peaceful stay near New River Gorge. It is close to everything … restaurants in Fayetteville, Adventures on the Gorge, Babcock State Park, and even Summersville Lake.

Wonderful long weekend stay.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house in a great location. It is great proximity to a variety of activities, restaurants, and shopping and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a long day of outdoor activities. Would definitely stay here again when we visit in the future.

Everything was very well kept, and you could tell a lot of care went into maintaining the space.The amenities were thoughtfully chosen and high quality. The place is absolutely gorgeous, it is close to many things to do and I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who needs a place to stay. The deer and turkeys visited everyday, and birds were plentiful. Our dog enjoyed the walk around.

My family and I loved our stay at the Cardinal Cottage. The location made for easy access to everything the New River Gorge has to offer, and we were able to bring our dogs along for the adventure. I'm sure we will be booking another stay at the cottage in the future.

Amazing and clean house with lots of room outdoors. We saw turkeys and deer everyday. Shelby was easy to reach and a wonderful host. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
