The Space:

Located in a private gated community (The Hammocks) on Edisto Island, this cozy cottage features all the amenities you need to enjoy the beautiful Jeremy Inlet and a secluded beach on the Atlantic Ocean (a small boat/kayak is needed to access the beach).



Spectacular sunrises, views of the ocean and creek, and the sights and sounds of saltwater marshes are served daily by Mother Nature herself. Whether you enjoy boating, birdwatching, crabbing, fishing, kayaking, or just a spectacular view of the Lowcountry, the vantage points from almost every angle of this 1,500-square-foot cottage are sure to wow guests of all ages.



A unique floor plan, with the main bedroom on the second floor, is perfect for enjoying breathtaking views of the ocean with your morning coffee, which you can prepare in the small kitchenette area just outside the second-floor sleeping quarters. The kitchen, dining room, and living room combination, located on the main level, will have your group sharing laughter and fun throughout your visit. Dine al fresco or simply cool off after a hot day in the sun on the comfortably furnished, screened-in porch just off the main living area. Unplug from daily life but stay connected with satellite TV and free wireless internet.



Be sure to pack your fishing poles or stop by the store for crabbing materials. A community boat ramp is also available. As the perfect getaway for a friends’ weekend, a fishing adventure, a vacation to remember with your growing kids, or a quiet couples' retreat, Pink Bird Cottage has all the comforts of home.

This home is located in a private residential community; a strict 10 pm noise ordinance is in effect and enforced

Only four vehicles are permitted at the home at any time

Please note that boats over 16 feet in length are no longer accommodated in the creek. The past two hurricanes have increased the amount of mud and sand in the creek. Please call for information regarding tides and Jeremy Inlet access from Scott Creek to the ocean.



The Neighborhood:

While you enjoy the serene beach views and coastal atmosphere, we kindly ask that you respect our private community by observing all posted speed limits and adhering to the noise ordinance. Quiet hours are strictly maintained from 10 pm to 8 am to ensure a restful environment for all residents.
