Central 2-Bedroom Apartment with private parking - home from home

Murano Place Apartment is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully equipped self catering holiday apartment with private parking. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Leith Walk, the apartment is within walking distance of city centre attractions. Sleeps up to 4 (plus 1 baby). Check-in and check-out times are negotiable. The apartment is ideal for short city breaks as well as longer holidays. Third floor - Sorry NO LIFT.

Our apartment offers spacious and immaculate accommodation, with a homely feel. Fully equipped with everything for your stay - fresh linen and towels, hairdryers , WiFi, Smart TV, DVD player, CD player, DVDs, books, board games, toys, cot and highchair at no extra cost, washer/drier, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge/freezer, iron, plenty of crockery/cooking utensils and a variety of spices for home cooking. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate and Shortbread biscuits await you on your arrival.

There is a private, secured parking space for one car.

Direct tram to/from Edinburgh Airport - approx 35 minutes.

On your door step, you will find everything else that you could possibly want for an enjoyable stay - a variety of restaurants, take-away outlets and pubs, as well as supermarkets and delicatessens, playgrounds, the tram and a number of buses to take you to the city centre as well as to attractions further afield, such as the Royal Yacht Britannia or the Zoo.

We loved it here! So warm and cosy and really well equipped. It was so nice to have some treats on arrival and also things like cling film, tea, oil available. There were also some games for the kids. The beds were really comfy. It is really well located to see Edinburgh and you don’t need a car. We went to hill end on the number 4 bus and went on the pentlands rollercoaster which was amazing. Also dynamic earth, Mary kings close, climbed Arthur’s seat and went to the sheep’s heid. Camera obscura and magician on the royal mile also brilliant! Thanks elisabeth and Gordon. Great communication

Great stay! Lovely appartment with everything we needed and walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. Also the bus and tram stop are 2 min walk. A very nice touch was the personal welcome and the personal touch in the appartment. Thanks for welcoming us!

Es war absolut perfekt. Alles sehr sauber und voll ausgestattet - sogar ein sicherer Stellplatz für unseren Mietwagen. Die Wohnung liegt erstaunlich zentral - die Innenstadt (Royal Mile) war ca 20 min Fußweg entfernt aber auf dem Weg dahin hat man schon so viel zu sehen und Gelegenheiten zum einkaufen oder essen. Rundum ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Very comfortable with all amenities in a lovely and very convenient location. Car parking space was a bonus. The owner had been careful to create a welcoming atmosphere and on entering the property it was warm with some subtle Christmas decorations dotted around. It had everything we needed and we were really comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. Elisabeth and Gordon met us on arrival and explained the do’s and don’ts , the Apartment was clean and comfortable and very convenient for trans and buses with on site parking for our large van. We have no complaints and did get used to the stairs up to the apartment ( the luggage carrying up stairs was fun !) but we were aware there was no lift before booking. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary shortbread and sweeties . Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed three nights at Elisabeth’s wonderful apartment in Edinburgh and felt completely at home. The flat is located in a quiet cul-de-sac yet perfectly central: shops are within easy walking distance, and the old town can be reached in about 15–20 minutes on foot (less than a mile). The car can be safely parked in the courtyard – we didn’t need it at all during our stay.The apartment is on the third floor (no lift), which wasn’t an issue for us as we knew beforehand. Once upstairs, it feels almost like a penthouse: bright, spacious, tastefully decorated, and furnished to a high standard. Everything was spotless, with a comfortable double bed, two single beds, and a fully equipped kitchen – nothing was missing.Elisabeth is a fantastic host – very friendly, welcoming, and easy-going, with excellent communication. We were warmly greeted, had a great introduction to the flat, and departure arrangements were relaxed and uncomplicated.It was a perfect stay for us – we only wish we had booked more nights. Highly recommended!
