Cozy Lakefront House

  • This 4-bedroom, 2-bath home comfortably sleeps 8 and has a full kitchen and living area, plus an amazing patio on the water. Features include WiFi, air conditioning, Direct TV, kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit, gas grill. Our home is 1/2 hour to downtown Madison, WI. This is perfect for a fun weekend getaway with friends and family!

    Boat/Jet ski dock available at home. The boat launch is free and a 1/4 mile away. If you would like to rent a pontoon or boat, you can do so about a 1/4 mile away as well.

    There is a great supper club nearby as well as various bars and restaurants on the lake with live music at multiple locations on the weekends.

Milton College Homecoming Reunion

Such a good time seeing all of our Sigma Pi friends! House was a great location for us. A couple of things need attention but was clean with good beds.

Get away

Awesome view of the Rock River from inside and out! Place met our needs. Property needs a little TLC. Would be nice to have basic paper products (paper towels, napkins, Kleenex.) Many nice restaurants in the area.

Great Property

Our 3rd year at this property. The host is responsive & accommodating. Great river front seating & the dock handled our 24 ft Tritoon with no problem. Will definitely book again!

Lovely

A lovely little cottage on the rock river. Proximity is close to the water. The house was exactly as described. Steve was very accessible for questions and concerns. My three daughters and I had a lovely three day weekend using this sweet property.

Beautiful, wonderful!

Steve was great to communicate with, very accommodating. My son and I along with the team we work with stayed for our championship walleye fishing tournament, was ideal we docked our boats, stopped in for quick lunches, cool off in the air and take a quick swim while prefishing! I couldn’t have been any better! Thanks Steve!

We enjoyed our stay overall, the house is cute and in a nice location, but it was VERY disappointing that the 4 beds that were listed as being queen size were only twin. ALL THE BEDS ARE TWIN SIZE except for the master bedroom king size. Someone had to sleep on the living room sofa because of this. Also, our group is very tall and the twin beds were not a good fit, obviously. We would have chosen a different location if we would have known. I don't understand why the listing was so inaccurate. We also moved the large dining room table under the ceiling fan because the ceiling is low and people were whacking their heads as they walked by. We put it back, but I would suggest rearranging that room.

Our group of 6 'senior' ladies loved this place!

The house is spacious and provided all the amenities it states it has. The owner was quick to respond to text messages. Our group gets together a couple of times a year and prefers to try different places. This is one place we all agreed we would gladly return to - it provided all we needed and wanted!

Very well kept place

Its nice and clean and everything the pictures say it is. Area by the river is very nice to hang out at or fish. Renting a boat near by was easy and the owner has all that info for you there. I would stay here again! Owner was easy to contact and offered any help if needed.

Better than advertised

Very happy with this property. Great location, plenty of space inside & out. Nice dock. We brought our boat & room for friends to dock also. Owners pretty much thought of everything for you. Lots of extras, nice appliances plus great new remote controlled HVAC split units just installed. They worked great. This is a perfect waterfront getaway!
