Moose Haven: King Suite + Fire Pit/Pool & Hot Tub

Property Description:

The main living space is on the main entry of the unit, only two steps up from the parking lot. On the main level is our Kitchen, living room, entryway, a half bath, utility closet, and stair case downstairs.



Downstairs is our bedroom space. The master has a king bed, smart TV, a work desk, closet, and ensuite bathroom with large soaking tub. Our second bedroom, has two double beds, closet, and dresser. Our third bedroom, has two twin beds and a basic cable TV and a closet. We have full bathroom with tub/shower combo. We also have a full service laundry room.



We have a storage locker outside the unit the property that is open to guests. On the other side of the stairwell is a locked locker. The key is attached to the pool key and lanyard by the front door.



Messaging:

We understand that many guests are here to relax and enjoy time with family and friends, so we won't message often. You can expect us to send a check-in message the next morning to make sure everything is ok. You're welcome to respond or not. The day before checkout we'll send a simple checkout instruction message as well.

If you need anything or have questions about the home or area we are available and excited to help out. The host channel is the best place for casual messages. Urgent or emergencies feel free to text or call our personal number. We want you to have a great stay.



Location:

Moose Hollow in a premium condo complex. We are set up the hill over looking the Ogden Valley. There are mountain views surrounding the property and the Pineview Reservior. This area is very quiet and peaceful. Our property has a western view with a small stream that flows behind us.

On property we have one large community pool, a children's pool, and a two hot tubs (one at the pool center and one by buildings nearby.

We are on the edge of Wolf Creek Golf Course and hundreds of miles of National Forest trails and rivers.



Travel/Vehicle needs:

The easiest travel is with your own vehicle. Most travel on main roads do not require any special vehicles. However, winter travel to Powder Mountain can occasionally require a 4x4 and/or All-Weather tires. Before you rent a huge expensive vehicle, please know that Powder Mountain and UTA have shuttle busses that pick up at Moose Hollow. Season pass holders are free on UTA bus. Cost is only a few dollars if charged.



Public Transportation Options: Sadly, there is currently not an efficient public transit option to get from Eden/Moose Hollow to SnowBasin. Public bus travel times from Eden to Ogden and back up to SnowBasin do not match up and would take hours of your time.



UTA does offer bus service in the Ogden Valley. It is really just the ski bus but could get you to Eden or Ogden if desired. Please check UTA bus schedule for times and seasonal operation (winter only).



We do have UBER or LYFT but pick up times can very greatly. Usually they come from Ogden.

There are some local bus/shuttle companies. They offer Airport pickup/drop-off and evening rentals for celebrations.



Walking: There is a paved trail from Moose Hollow down to Eden and continues around the lake to Huntsville. Bikes and walkers are welcome. Conditions in winter are variable.
