"Perfect start to our our holiday in France. Minutes away from the Shuttle and the amenities in Calais. After driving down from Manchester it was the perfect place to spend the night prior to driving down to the South of France. The breakfast is a fantastic start to the day, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguette, cheese and cold meat as well as fruit juice, yoghurt and cakes (Madeleins). Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. "

"The host for this property was very welcoming and attentive. The views are spectacular and the breakfast was wonderful beautifully fresh eggs from the chickens you see around the property. I did expect it to be attached to a shopping centre and expected it to have a restaurant as these were in the hotels.com description and neither of these statements are true. But there is a shopping centre within 3 miles and by the sea there are a number of restaurants which are a short drive away ."

We have stayed in several locations whilst making our road trips and Boulogne Sur Mer has become our preferred place to enjoy a last evening on the Mainland! Aux Charmes has been a great find. "The bed was good, not so much the pillows. The room was big (we paid for the larger one). And the housekeeping team are really nice. The desk team are nice too. But having said that, the room was fantastic 30 years ago, now needs a good update. They had plumbing issues during the weekend, still they kept booking guests who would then complain about no heating in the room (they did solve this with mini heaters upon complaint, which was a nice solution, but who on earth keeps the rooms online...
