This is a charming home, with plenty of room for our party of four. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and well stocked. The heating system worked well (which is important in Massachusetts in December!). The house is conveniently located, only a few minutes drive to the town of Easthampton and around 15 minutes away from Northampton. There is a grocery store nearby in Easthampton, as well as several great bakeries and restaurants. Mindy was very welcoming, and stopped by to introduce herself after we checked in. Highly recommended!

This lovely home is even more charming than the pictures on Vrbo capture. The furnishings are well appointed, and the kitchen well equipped to make a family holiday dinner. Mindy is a great host, and readily available should you need anything. I highly recommend this for a specific visit.

What an absolute gem - Mindy is a wonderful host, completely available to answer every question, and the house itself is just gorgeous. Spacious, warm, cozy, beautifully appointed. They have thought of everything! The location cannot be beat - it feels very private and peaceful, surrounded y nature, but it's just minutes to get right into the heart of Easthampton. This place is a gem. (Great work space too, so I was able to get lots of work done on the days I worked remotely.) Ten stars!

From the very clear directions, friendly and amazing communication of our host, every detail from the perfect kitchen and coffee maker and electric tea kettle, to the fans in every room, the warm gentle lighting, spacious and spotless bathrooms, to the coziness of the home location and view of fall trees out every window including deer visiting in the morning - our stay was so comforting while visiting my daughter for college. We all slept better than we have in a long time - comfy beds and plenty of thick blankets and perfect temp control too! Thank you Mindy for such a thoughtful and wonderful classic New England home stay!

We had a wonderful weekend at this impeccably clean and charming home! Old World charm blended perfectly with all the modern conveniences we’re used to. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was excellent throughout.The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the house had everything we needed—and more. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and towels for our group of five.I just can’t say enough about how lovely this property is. Tastefully renovated 200/- year oldFarmhouse. Modern kitchen and baths, comfy beds, window type AC units but more than sufficient for our August stay. Kitchen and baths thoughtfully stocked with all the stuff you might need, although a basic spice rack in the kitchen would be nice - bring your own for now. Remote lot but still close to town, although not much going on in Easthampton, but proximity to and quality of the Bike trail is amazing (best to take short drive for access). All-in value was about on par with our expectations. A couple hotel rooms in the area work out to about the same price but with far less charm and character than this handsome property. A couple nits I’ll note. Outside gathering and sitting options are minimal. On a country farm setting, it would be nice to have a little sitting area and outdoor table to enjoy nature. Here, there’s a couple small porches but no easy way to enjoy dinner and drinks outside, for example. Also, host, while pleasant, lives next door and makes a point of coming over uninvited to give instructions and say hello. I’ll offer that most people don’t need or want that level of perceived surveillance. Texting with questions would suffice in nearly all situations. Combined with the several white board instructions throughout the house, it felt a touch overbearing, hence a minor ding on the communication rating (didn’t know where else to put it). I guess I could have insisted on privacy but did not. Overall, great property.

Terrific House & Host

Mindy was wonderful and accommodating. She lives next door so she is there if you need her but leaves you alone. The house is very comfortable (including the beds). We used it during graduation weekend where extended family could come and go. The yard is extensive (for us city folk) and very pretty. Thank you Mindy for a wonderful stay.

Lovely experience.

We had a wonder weekend stay. The house was charming and perfect for our writer's retreat. It was clean, the owners were friendly and available but there was really no need to contact them because everything in the house was visibly labeled and any instructions were easy and clear to follow. We enjoyed our stay and will be going back again.

Tranquil Getaway

Everything is beautiful at Fat Frog Farm. You are overwhelmed with peace and tranquility as soon as you arrive on the property. Every room is cozy, enough of everything. Beds, showers are just amazing. I wanted to return since my visit last year. Alison and Mindy feel like family. I can’t say enough.

Great place to stay!

We had a great time - the property is very conviently located to Easthampton, Southhampton and Northhampton, all nice towns with interesting shops and good restaurants. Also convenient to many nice hikes and bike routes. The property is nicely furnishe and the kitchen is very well appointed and clean with new appliances as well. The house had everything we needed and even though there are only air conditioners in the bedrooms it never felt hot inside. Check in was super easy and host was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!
