"I would never stay here again. The common area had overflowing trash/trash on the floor. The outlets in the bathroom did not work. My room also was not completely clean. It did not look like it had been swept well, and there was trash in the closet. It was also 84 degrees in my room when I walked in. There was an air conditioner in the room, but it was so loud that I could hear it down the hall with the door closed"

"I was up here for a wedding and had never been to Poulsbo. Was planning to stay only one night. Since I was going to see a lot of family hadn't seen in awhile, I decided to add a day. I called the office and the friendly, upbeat woman I spoke with got me the same room for both days. Came in to check in and the friendly, upbeat gentleman with the cool long hair, quickly got me checked in and even got my card to work both days. Cookie was good too!! Room was really clean and cozy. "This is a hotel is in one of the oldest buildings downtown, it is probably very difficult to maintain for its age but they do their best I think. The location is great for getting out and walking the Pioneer Square and wharf area. My only complaint really is that the breakfast area is way too small to accommodate its guests. Only seven or eight small tables available. Also, they really need a second waffle machine to serve its guests adequately. On a slightly humorous note, our tv had no sound...

Room have strong smell of cleaning material used and there were several strands of hair in the bathroom. Bath tub was a bit slippery which could pose risk to older people or children."
