Complete Makeover!
A quaint and cozy four season oceanfront cottage with 500 ft of waterfront and Swim SPA. This picturesque retreat offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, creating an idyllic setting for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. Located just 1 hr from the Halifax International airport and less then 30 minutes to downtown Halifax. This cottage provides the perfect escape for relaxation and rejuvenation!
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
The space
MAX 6 Guests + Twin bed suitable for a child.
2 Queen bedrooms on the main level and a King loft with an adjoining Twin bedroom. The loft may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues as it is accessible by wooden ladder.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy and inviting living space adorned with large windows that frame the awe-inspiring ocean vistas. The kitchen is fully equipped making it a joy to cook while enjoying the ocean view.
Outside offers endless possibilities to immerse yourself in nature-leisurely strolls, swimming, water sports/activities, kayaking, 2 beaches, and fire pit.
Breathtaking sunsets are yours to enjoy at your leisure either in the swim spa or on the deck.

Notes:
*The beach is a private beach but is shared with the residence that live on the private road.

There is a fire pit but wood is not supplied. Bring your own or stop into Mishoo’s convenience in Sambro on your way by to the cottage and grab some bagged firewood.

The Host does weekly chemical maintenance to the swim spa every Thursday. If you are staying for an extended period of time, you may also see the Host attending to the property. mowing the grass or watering flowers.

Please indicate how many guest are staying at the cottage as we only dress the cottage with bath towels, beach towels, linens etc for the amount of guests listed on the reservation.

The property was beautiful and in a great location for a getaway! Easy to access and get to the city, if you’re looking to go. We didn’t end up going to the beach as we were only there for 2 nights and loved spending time at the cottage. The only thing to keep in mind is it is very steep to get up to the loft, so ensure whoever is staying is comfortable with climbing up and down ladder-like stairs.

Absolutely lovely place, secluded in a quaint peninsula away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Halifax, but still close enough to be convenient. Gorgeous private beach with picture perfect sunset views. House was just big enough for 2-4 people, very clean and tastefully decorated. Very happy with our visit

Our group of 4 retirees greatly enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Pearl. Host was easy to contact and most attentive to our needs. Cottage was well equipped, comfy beds and we loved the hot tub each night we were there. Great neighbours and view. It was close enough to Halifax for a visit there, Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg. We ran out of time to enjoy kayaks and other nearby attractions.

Enjoyed the stay.

Visited Halifax and hiked area trails. Wife had wanted to try a swim spa and used it every evening. House was right on the water and very comfortable. Was visited by ducks and geese every morning. Wish we had more time to fully take advantage of the house and surrounding areas.

Everything you could need

This property listing looked like a dream online and I was over the moon to see it lived up to every expectation. From the location and amenities, to little things like measuring cups, a toaster, a Keurig, hooks for jackets and towels, throw-blankets to stay warm by the fireplace. Plenty of spots to charge devices or connect to streaming services, but also just disconnect and enjoy the views. So many thoughtful touches that helped us completely relax. Very clean and comfortable, quiet and serene.

Perfect ocean-side getaway!

The property was fantastic, well equipped and super cozy. We really appreciated the scent-free clean linens and space. The view is amazing and there is nothing like enjoying an ocean-side soak in a swim spa. Mishoo's was a great place to grab dinner and beverage to-go(3 minutes away). The place was a great destination spot - away from the city but close enough to be convenient.

Lovely property next to the Ocean

Property was very clean and well maintained. Newer appliances. Swim spa was popular with our group and we enjoyed a bonfire in the evening. Loft bedroom(s) would be challenging for people with mobility issues. The beach was small but watching the changes with the tides was relaxing. Kayaks were available to borrow for a sheltered paddle.

Peaceful waters

The house was in a wonderful location. There was a fire pit and we built a fire each night. We made somores and watched the crackling. We were able to relax and enjoy the view, which is what we came for.

Lovely Stay!

The cottage on the ocean was beautiful! Really nice views and amazing swim spa that we took advantage of due to the cooler temperatures that weekend. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need to cook. Would recommend!

Incredible location

Beautiful little cottage with an amazing view from anywhere on the property! We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the afternoons, and sitting in the hot tub and watching the sunset was a highlight of our stay. This was the best place we stayed in Nova Scotia and the proximity to the beach was fantastic. We are a family of 5 and would definitely stay here again.

Extremely comfortable

Great spot with wonderful views. We enjoyed the loft and had no problem at our age (58+) going up and down. Loved having some privacy and having a bathroom upstairs. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Overall a great stay.

Atlantic cottage near Halifax

We travel from Oakville, Ontario for three nights while exploring beautiful Nova Scotia. It was excellent option for five of us. Just great set up with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, good size kitchen and living room. Property was very clean with all the things you may need during your stay. Large jacuzzi and fire pit was a highlight of our stay. If we ask me what could be improved the only thing I would say perhaps larger bathroom. Overall it was 5 star stay, highly recommended.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The home is well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Our 2 grandchildren, 10 and 14 loved the kayaking, and the Crystal Cres beach. That is a beautiful spot! The swim spa was terrific…thank-you!

Beautiful Stay outside of Halifax

We had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Pearl Cottage. The kids loved having access to the beach, a hammock to swing in and the Spa Pool. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was well stocked with all cooking necessities. We saw a family of deer on the beach the day we were checking out.
