"Room very basic, tired, dated. Smelt like strong bleach. Furniture scuffed. No wardrobe or drawers for clothes. Shower was hot and powerful though"

"The receptionist lady was very help and very friendly the whole reception, halls and rooms where very clean and spacious I think we stayed in 114 and I’ve already booked a 2 night stay 18-20 march although I only stayed last week I’m back in Leicster next week so I’m booked and staying here again "

"The whole unit was exactly as described and expected. Self contained with kettle, fridge and microwave(bonus!). Lovely quiet village area. Very comfortable bed and great ensuite bathroom with excellent and powerful shower cubicle. An optional help yourself breakfast facility is a new concept which we didnt use this time, but thought a great idea. We would definitely stay again as the price is very competitive. One small suggestion would be for a choice of some deeper pillows maybe?"

"Basic hotel but absolutely fine. Good value for money and great location. Be aware the Room 1 is over the kitchen and their air conditioner produces loud buzzing noise in the room until late. Staff sympathetic but unable to help. "

"The stay provided a really welcome break. The hosts met us to check in and were really warm and welcoming. We were shown around the property and assured to contact them if we needed anything. We didn't as the accommodation had everything that we needed. I was slightly concerned that the room may have been cold given the time of year, but it was really warm and cosy and well furnished. The shower was also powerful and hot. I would definitely recommend for a short break. "

"Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others."

"Really nicely refurbished hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, although they sometimes seemed a little inexperienced. Our room was comfortable, but it felt slightly cramped as it was quite full of furniture, which meant there wasn’t much space for our luggage. Overall, I would recommend staying here, but I think the staff’s experience and confidence need a little time to catch up with the high-end image the hotel is aiming to project."

"1) the mattress will seem comfortable. 2) for breakfast I ordered pastries for my room.. I also reminded them again before the bar closed. They said that they would be deliver this to my room. This never happened."

"Couldn't fault this hotel at all. From the beautiful grounds, the grandeur of the building, the impeccable customer service, the delicious food, the spacious, elegant room, the clean, luxurious spa. The drinks were a tad on the pricey side, but the mid week room price including spa access was excellent value for money. Would come here again in heartbeat. "

"Our stay was great. The only disappointment was the shower. It wasn't very powerful and the temperature was unreliable. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was very good so it wasn't necessary to order additional cooked items. "
