"Our stay at the Scarborough penthouse recently was brilliant. We went for my birthday and it couldn’t have been more special, easy to find and parking just outside. On arrival we took the lift and it opens up straight into the apartment giving it a very classy feel. The lovely open plan living room and kitchen was very clean and comfortable. The two bedrooms were large and beautifully set out. The best bit for us was the balcony with seating area and sea view. Overall all had a fantastic stay....

"Upon arrival the place was tidy & clean, the location of the property is great. The owners were friendly. I had to message a couple of times and they responded nice & quick. The butchers on site was lovely ! The BBQ provided was a bonus & the hot tub was brilliant. The extra £50 charge seems a little excessive and I’ve never experienced this before, it’s usually all in. "My only gripe isn’t the cottage owners fault but that of hotels.com as this properly was listed as reserve now pay on arrival but the money left my account within seconds of booking. Hotels.com excused this by saying it’s in the terms and conditions but don’t advertise as such! The cottage itself is lovely, very off road location and I was worried about my tyres on the way there but all was fine. The farmers next door are lovely and their farm dogs were friendly and curious. Our poodle...
