Flaming Gorge getaway/ Fly fishing paradise!

Come and enjoy the amazing Flaming Gorge Reservoir and Green River which has the best blue ribbon fly fishing in the West. 3 miles to river launch. 5.5 miles to reservoir boat launch. This spacious 2000 sq foot house has 5 bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms. Fully stocked kitchen with seasonings. A deck with a propane gas grill. Fire pit (wood provided). 2 smart T.V.s. WiFi. Laundry room. The price for a night goes up $15 per person after 6 people. You can change the number of people coming anytime before your reservation. If you bring more people and it exceeds 6 you will be charged for the number of extra people.

My friends and I have been coming to Dutch Jon for three years in a row now. Once I introduced them to this place they all fell in love. We look forward to coming every year, by far this accommodated all of us we had so much room. Kitchen was beautiful. Can’t wait to be back again.

This place exceeds all expectations!

The property contact was very communicative, and will to help if any situation arises. The house itself is a stones throw from the green river. It was awesome being able to leave the house and be on the water in 10 mins. Also you are back relaxing on the lawn or by the fire in 25 minutes after getting off the water. There is so much room!!! People can be sleeping on one side of the house while others sleep soundly, undisturbed on the other side of the house. By far one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I was there with five guy friends, and I plan on bringing my family back.

Flaming Gorge Comfort

I have been vacationing around Flaming Gorge for my entire life with extended family & it’s one of my favorite recreation areas. We have always camped near Cedar Springs Marina & love the area because of the convenient access to the lake & the river, not to mention the rugged beauty with lots of ponderosa pines. This year, we planned a trip with two other families who are our good friends. They had never been & we wanted to share the area with them. We opted for the comfort of a vacation home & we were so happy to find this gem in Dutch John. The house was very clean & nicely updated, the kitchen was large & very well-appointed. We loved having the fire pit out back to enjoy the best part of camping while still having the comforts of home. We had three vehicles, two of which pulled boats & we had plenty of parking in front of the house. We loved the proximity of the lake & river & that the house comfortably accommodated all 13 of us. The shower in the master bathroom had a hard time draining, but the property manager responded quickly & the issue was resolved quickly too. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place

We usually stay at the Dutch John cabins. But our family is getting too big for one cabin. And we wanted to be together. Tims place had plenty of room. Loved the island in the kitchen. And the Table out back. The kitchen had everything we needed. I brought some baking dishes from home but they were not needed. It was nice having seasonings in the kitchen. The master bed was very comfy. Even the sheets and pillows were soft. It was kinda warm sleeping. There is not central air, it’s just a swamp cooler. So the air had a hard time making back into the bedrooms. There were fans in the bedrooms that helped a ton. It says 5 bedrooms. But the bedroom with the full in it, is actually the master bedroom closet. You have to enter that room from the master. Which would be great for a couple with kids. But we had adult married kids with us. So we didn’t end up using that room. The parking was perfect. We could back the ski boat into the driveway. And we were able to use the 2nd drive way for the fishing boat. We were even able to meet Tim (he was staying over the garage nextdoor. Over all it was a great trip! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Tim and family the 2nd drive way

Second year in a row - great property!

This is a really nice home. We've stayed here two years in a row, and we'll book it again. Great owners who respond quickly to any questions. The mattress in the main bedroom is GREAT - really slept well. Lots of room and well appointed kitchen and two family areas where you can sit and talk, play games, plan the next day, etc.

Even nicer than described

We REALLY enjoyed our stay. Communication was great. The home was very clean with lots of nice amenities that made you feel right at home. The mattresses were very comfortable, and all linens, towels, etc. were very nice. We've stayed at a couple of the 'normal' rooms and cabins at the local resorts and this home is MUCH better than those options. We'll go back for sure.
