  • Relax at this serene and tranquil getaway just two miles from downtown Durham. Rejuvenate with some hydrotherapy in this suite with separate entrance with spa featuring a steam bath with aromatherapy, jacuzzi, sauna, plunge pool and massage chair. Prepare a scrumptious meal over either a charcoal or gas-fired barbecue or light the outdoor fire pit and cook your own woodfired pizza in our pizza oven using fresh herbs from the herb garden. For dessert we provide to with a s’more’s table-top fire bowl. Listen to the waterfall and watch the hummingbirds feed as you lounge on the patio or enjoy your gourmet coffee or tea (provided) on your private deck. Note the suite has a separate entrance but is attached to a house.

While the interior space is limited, it is super clean and well-stocked. The hot tub, outdoor sauna, and indoor steam shower are awesome, and it was so peaceful to spend time in the hot tub with the snow coming down. Hosts were great, very accommodating and communicative. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here. The property and accommodations were excellent. Clean, quiet, and as comfortable as we could ask for. It is in a great location close to the University of NH (great to drive and walk through) and Portsmouth. Highly recommend staying here!

this property has everything you need for a personal spa vacation - it is in a lovely setting - close to town - but the property itself is secluded and quite The amenties were in perfect condition - great instructions - and it seemed to us that the host really wanted us to enjoy our stay - and we did!

Amenities were superb and very clean! We were only able to use the outdoor hot tub and fire pit on our first night in this lovely wooded setting because of the pouring rain the following day. However because of the beautiful steam shower, the relaxing massage chair, and comfy bed, we were able to still enjoy a full spa experience despite the weather! Highly recommended!

A Wonderful Retreat

It was secluded and yet not far from some great restaurants and attractions. The place was amazing! The spa amenities were everything you could ask for to make for a relaxing weekend. The hostess was very gracious, on-site and very responsive!

Very relaxing and welcoming. We needed a weekend away to ourselves and the amenities here helped us be connected and relaxed. Great location with lots of amenities close by, and close to Portsmouth for dining and shopping. Thank you so much for having us!

We really enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Very peaceful location and high quality facilities (hot tub, sauna, etc.) We even saw deer walking around. Great to get away from the busy city even if just for a short time

Restorative and refreshing!

Brigitte has created an amazing, restorative oasis in the middle of an oak forest. It was a perfect getaway for a quiet birthday and I left feeling relaxed and restored. I can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful, relaxing, oasis

This space was unexpectedly beautiful, it is spacious and has all the amenities you could want, beautiful hot tub and deck area overlooking a very private forested backyard, nice Lounge chairs, spacious clean shower with aromatic steam bath, the little details are lovely like Cutlery cups and plates, fresh organic teas, and coffee. We will surely stay again and recommend this place to anyone

Beautiful relaxing and restful stay

Upon arrriving, it was a nice surprise to have our host greet us with a quick synopsis of where everything was and how all worked etc... Super friendly and informative. The hottub was at perfect temperature, steam shower was awesome. We were provided abundant privacy and enjoyed our stay immensely! It truly was a spectacular getaway...highly recommend!
