Luxury Townhome - 4 Miles from Downtown - AC in Bedrooms

Our 1,700 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Crimson Cliff townhome (Unit 55) is situated near the Animas River just 4 miles north of downtown Durango and 25 miles from Durango Mountain Resort (25 minutes). This home offers an ideal location with incomparable views of the Animas River Valley, and immediate access to the resort area without having to drive through town to get to trails, national forest land and the ski area.

The Durango Trolley stops right in front of the home every 20 minutes making it convenient to get downtown without having to drive or park.

The main living space features a gas fireplace as well as a 50" 4K flat screen TV and Blue Ray DVD Player. Each bedroom features a deck as well as AC (May - Oct).

The Crimson Cliff complex includes a private park with sand volleyball court, playground equipment, nine-hole mini-golf, small pond, fire pit and a gravel walking track around the large lawn.

Master Bedroom - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (3rd Floor)
2nd Bedroom - Queen (3rd Floor)
3rd - Bunk Beds (Single over Double) (3rd Floor)

Please note all bedrooms require stairs and the townhome is not pet friendly, so please do not bring your pets or emotional support animals.

We mainly used the unit for sleeping. Otherwise, we were out all day and ate all meals out. Everything was very nice. Would suggest a cooling unit on the main floor, similar to those in the bedrooms… hot and stuffy, even though we opened both balcony door and main window. It might also be worth noting that there are two sets of stairs, both steep and long, and not the best for elderly access.

Peaceful celebration/vacation

My family has roots in Durango. I grew up in the area as well as my children in their younger years, so the opportunity to return to see my son graduate from FLC was a heartfelt and sentimental experience. I purposefully looked for a place to stay that would fit all six of us comfortably as well as be close to town, and this property fit the bill perfectly! It was a quiet, peaceful area, close enough to make quick runs to the grocery store or go out to restaurants in the area, and of course a hop, skip, and a jump to the college. The bedrooms were comfortable, the living space roomy, and the kitchen had everything we needed for fixing meals. I highly recommend this property if you don't want to be too far from town, yet still be able to experience a quiet escape.

Durango getaway

My husband and I, our 2 year old, and my parents came to Durango for a long weekend and this place was exactly what we needed! Enough space for all of us to relax and spend time together. Perfect location away from the business of downtown but close enough to get to quickly and easily. Communication was easy and very responsive! Highly recommend staying here!

Durango Family Vacation

Communication with the owner was great. Answered questions, checked on us and was very friendly. The property is beautiful. The Kitchen has everything you need. The master bedroom and bathroom very spacious. Beds were so clean and comfortable. Large soaking tub plus large walk in shower. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening. This was our family vacation and we felt right at home. Will definitely book here again!

The location and layout is great. Lots of stairs. It does not have AC which is common in this area but can be uncomfortable late afternoon or evening if it doesn’t rain so watch the weather.

Very nice!

Love this condo. It was clean and communication was great! It is close to the highway and you will be sleeping with windows open in the summer due to no A/C, but with windows closed, you can’t hear the highway. I would recommend this place.

Amazing stay in Durango

This wonderful property was very clean and spacious. It’s in a great location north of town with easy access to the main highway. The home is very quiet and well maintained. The couch in the family room could be replaced, but all other furnishings, linens, and appliances were top notch. We will return.

Perfect locstion

This was a clean place with perfect location. The trolly was great and we didn’t have to drive they town. I recommend downloading the app. Management was easy to get ahold of. They said there was a. Rock pot there is not. We loved it

Short vacation in a Durango condo

Very roomy and well equiped. Closeness to US550 made it easy to travel into Durango or elsewhere although this closeness resulted in road noise audible within the apartment.

Good family facility

This was a great property on the north side of Durango. The kitchen was equipped, the furnishings were great, and it was very convenient to everything in the valley. Good property for family vacations. It does have quite a bit of stairs so may be challenging if you don't handle stairs well.

Great time!

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. It was in a quiet part of town and very close to all we did. The stairs might be a problem for anyone with a mobility issue, but didn't cause us any problems. We had a great time!

Excellent rental. Clean. Quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean. Well stocked. Beds were great! I do wish the listing reminded visitors that there is no a/c so box fans are almost a must. If you aren't from the area it can be a bit stressful to arrive in the summer and figure out how to cool the upstairs. The smoke detector went off at 9 pm and we were able to immediately get in touch with a property manager who was very helpful. I loved the balconies and the outdoor grill. I would however like the listing to disclose that there is a balcony in the bunk room. Had we had smaller kids, this would have been stressful. Overall, amazing experience.
