    Steeprock Mountain Lodge is a 3,300 square foot residence which features 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is located 5 miles (9 minutes) from downtown Durango and 23 miles from Purgatory. This home is in one of the nicest residential settings in the Durango area. It is situated on 8 acres offering privacy and seclusion - yet just minutes from downtown Durango . Enjoy an alpine setting with room to roam and exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreational experiences that Durango has to offer.

    Our home features an amazing outdoor living space including a wrap around deck to enjoy the unmatched views and a gas fire pit, private hot tub, outdoor dining table, gas grill, and a man made creek that runs adjacent to the home. The outdoor living space on the ground level also features a gas fire pit. The generously equipped gourmet kitchen features gas stove, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. We also offer reliable WiFi throughout the home and Direct TV in both living spaces and 2 of the bedrooms. The Master Bedroom as well as the 4th and 5th Bedrooms have AC units while the other 2 bedrooms are on the ground level and stay plenty cool. The fireplace in the main living space has been converted to an electric fireplace.

    The house sleeps 14 and is perfect for multiple families as it features two living spaces (each with TV w/Direct TV). The ground floor living space also features a multi-arcade arcade game with over 200 video games. Note there is no access to the garage but there is ample parking in front of the home.

The place was great, and wonderful for kids. The balcony was safe as well. The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived, and the place was nice and cool. The bedroom setup worked really well for our 6 adults and 4 children 7 and under.

I owned a cabin in the Needles area for 30 years…Kids knew it well, but grandkids had never been to Durango…so I brought everyone out for a week.. (14 of us). great stay at your place

The house is fun, clean, roomy and the property is beautiful and secluded. Great for family wanting to get away and chill. There are also plenty of things to do around Durango based on your preferences.

We had a great time at this property with 3 families. There was space for us to spread out and the kids had a great time with room to roam. Would definitely book again.

Extended Family Vacation in the perfect home

Our extended family of 9, 3 families, spent 5 nights in this perfect home. Each bedroom area had comfy beds, great bathrooms, and complete privacy. The outdoor areas were awesome got grilling and also enjoying the surroundings as the views from the home were spectacular! We will book this home again next time we are in the Durango area. Also, location is close to grocery stores and historic downtown Durango.

Outstanding

We have stayed at multiple properties in the Durango area- all have been great but this really suited our needs better than ever. Gorgeous property, felt secluded, well cared for, had absolutely everything we needed. Felt at home. Great views and location. 20 minutes to Purg, 8 minutes to town. Thanks a million. Looking forward to coming back.

Family reunion

Grandparents, children and grandchildren!! The house is laid out perfectly to allow some separation with perfect central cooking , eating and game space. The surround deck was the backdrop each evening as we came together after the days activities. The home couldn’t be a friendlier place for all.
