Great place in a beautiful spot that’s far enough from town to feel like you are in the mountains but close enough where it’s only a 10 minute drive. Loved the nespresso machine in the mornings and sitting on the porch. Climbed the mountain behind the house and hung out in the hot tub at night. Beds were super comfy, would stay here again!

This an amazing house with great spaces to spread out. Host is exceptionally accommodating and a the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need (plus more). I hope to get the opportunity to stay here again next time we visit Durango.

Our hosts extended warmth and hospitality - when the hot tub broke down the day before we arrived, they gave us a couple options and wanted to make sure we were happy. Especially knowing it was our anniversary, they really tried to make our stay special. We had a great stay. The place is convenient to town but away from the busyness. Nice getaway!

Family of 7 stayed here for 7 nights. Plenty of space for all. We had a very nice time. House was very clean and description was right on. House is close to downtown, easy access for the train ride, ski resort, ice skating and the million dollar highway. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet. There was even great suprise for the kids on arrival. Great place to stay!

Really loved our vacation at the house! All the amenities were great and the location was very centrally located to historic Durango and skiing in Purgatory. Loved all the helpfup tips Sarah gave us! Will definitely stay here again :-)

The Woodshop!

We loved close access to downtown, the amazing views, well appointed grill setup and secluded hot tub / fire pit locations. Our kids loved the games, hiking, and fast Wifi.

Amazing Property!

This is by far the best property we have stayed at! Super clean, comfy beds, awesome scavenger hunt for the kiddos, and amenities such as the hot tub and fire pit are great (also, tons of exploring behind the house). The little goodies, scavenger hunt and note made us feel much welcomed! Perfect family getaway!

Mountain getaway

Warm and welcoming hosts. The location was secluded and backed up to beautiful red rocks and hiking trails. It was in short proximity to the hot springs and downtown. The home provided all essentials for human and dog guests :-). Would stay again!

Excellent Vacation Home

Beautiful home backed up to the Red cliffs of Durango, very peaceful and family oriented! Snow was everywhere so the sights were amazing. Definitely recommend Sarah as a host and she will make sure you have everything you need ! Hope to return !

An inviting mountain country setting just minutes from town

I do not believe we could have made a better choice. A rustic ranch feel with more amenities than we needed and EVERYTHING (the mechanicals) worked nicely and exceeded expectations

Great Fall-getaway stay

This property, from the location to the extra amenities (games, foosball table, hot tub, coffee station to name a few) made our trip to SW CO perfect for our family of 3 (1 child). They even had a scavenger hunt for my son when we arrived that led him to a local treat! We've declared this our favorite VRBO in Durango. The property is beautiful, easily accessible to town and to 550, but tucked in the canyon. We had everything we needed here and more!

Durango

Great location. Very peaceful area but close enough to town. House was very clean, kitchen and bathrooms are well supplied. Clean hot tub and plenty of things to keeep kids busy. Everything was as seen in owners photos. Durango has great places to eat and shop. Great hiking, beautiful views and great drives to places Silverton, Ouray and Telluride. Sarah is a very friendly and helpful host.

Trip to Durango

The house was very clean and well equipped with all we needed. My kids loved the scavenger hunt they found when we first arrived. Great place to stay and very quiet. But close enough to Durango. Sarah was great host. Ask her for some hike ideas. Would stay again.

Great house in a great location

We stayed 2 days in Durango to experience the Durango/Silverton train. This house was wonderful; quiet; and has a fantastic view while sitting on the back deck. It was well appointed and really is a great place for families with kids. It was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable which can be hard to find in rentals! The short drive into town was super easy. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Durango!!
